His maw gave way to a smile as he gave his pelt a shake. "Well most of the females I had claimed were getting a bit restless. Can you imagine three litters of squealing pups around you? So besides finding some peace, I had decided to speak to you." Grinned Dax with a wave of his tail. "My allies told me of a group of dogs around here. Glad I told them to lay off. Actually seeing you as you are just made this trip worthwhile." Dax purred, smiling at the ground and turning to look at her. The male admired her strong amber gaze with his headstrong gold ones. It was certain in his mind that he would do whatever it took to take her as mate.

The small femme giggled as he crouched opposite of her. She twisted as he jumped, getting her own fluffy body confused with his. As the larger male shoved at her she allowed her legs to give way and tumbled under Dingo, her forepaws sinking into the fluffy fur of his side. It tickled her nose and Miracle sneezed, giggling from below. "Geez! You sure are fluffy!"

Jace relaxed a little bit, but still watched Chakotay. His extremely deep voice came out as he said "A pack? You have a PACK?" Jace was almost frozen in place, then walked up to the other dog. Jace was a pretty big dog, but he didn't try to look intimidating. He laid his ears back and said "Bey needs help. Her pups are almost here and she's very sick... Do you have anything for her?" Jace was basically begging, which he never did. It was Beys life on the line here.

I blink slowly, keeping eye contact. "Your are attempting to sweeten my attitude to you by flattery" I say, tilting my head to the side slightly. Three litters? With three different fae's? This brute followed wolf-code, not dog... Interesting. You didn't meet many dogs these days that followed wolf code. "Pleasantries aside, would you like to tell me what was said that caused one of my pack members to attack you? You haven't been very clear"

I laugh doggishly. "Of course I'm fluffy! It's in my breed!" I say with a side smile. "But I must say, you sure could give me a run for my money if you let your fur grow out!" I say, bowing and wagging my tail. I leap off her and face her, meeting her strange and hypnotic eyes. This is fun!

I smile and nod my head. "I am part of the infinity pack, we are led by a strong alpha fae. Her name is luca, she is a wolf-dog and she has watched over us. We have help available, I myself help with pups. We welcome all dogs in our pack and we will always go out of the way to help a pregnant fae" I say, meeting his eyes and blinking twice, showing that I wasn't lying.

Jace contemplated for a moment, then nodded. "Thank you." He said deeply. He walked over to Bey and picked her up. He was a pitbull, so it was easy. He looked at Jezzie. "You can come too, I have to get Bey medicine."

Bey ad passed out by then, the coughing took too much out of her. Jaces muscles flexed as he carried Bey over to Chakotay. He would be a good addition to a pack, just until Bey was well enough to travel. "Please," he said to the dog. "Lead the way."

I look over at Jezzie "Now is your last chance. You have over-reacted, don't deny it. Just come back please, and we will figure something out. This is the very last time I will be talking about coming back" I say, moving over to stand beside Jace, helping him to keep Bey balanced safely. I meet Jezzie's eyes, begging.

Jace got worried. "We need to go, she gets sicker by the hour." Jace sent Chakotay a pleading look. Bey needed help. Bey whined and coughed badly, blood landing on Jace. "Hang on there sweetheart, these dogs are going to help you. They have a pack." Jace said, trying to hold Bey steady.

I meet Jace's eyes. Dropping my voice I say "I just have to get her final answer, then we can go. As soon as we are in range I can call for help, they will meet us on-route" I say softly, then turn back to meet Jezzie's eyes for a final time. "So Jezzie... Whats your answer?"

Dax chuckled at her comment, but waited for her to continue. The male took but a moment to think up a solid reply. "She was the first one I saw when I entered your land here. I knew you were the leader as I had been told by one of my packmates. So I requested to speak with you. That female may have been up on pregnancy hormones or something, but she snapped at me. Told me I was unfit to speak with you. If I was not so fatigued, I would have fought back more effectively." The male was clearly built enough to defend himself but a long journey would have worn him out.

"Just wait till winter! Boy we will be like sheep!" Laughed Miracle with a wave of her curly tail. She bowed opposite of Dingo, a smile on her short muzzle. She felt warm, eyes brightened as she pounced on him. Her small frame would not be hard to take back down, but she just covered his ears and had in playful nips. Miracle paused, head above his. She dragged her pink tongue over the top of his fluffy white head. Jumping back off, she hopped back with her head before his, rump raised, topped with a curly fluffy tail wagging with amusement.

I nod, understanding much more. "And you made no move to attack beforehand? Her attack was unprovoked?" I ask, wanting to confirm this fact. Hopefully, Chakotay would have caught up with Jezzie and talked to her, worked things out. I stand up, shuddering involuntarily due to the position o my body. "To be honest, it's better you didn't fight back much; otherwise I would not be able to confer with you but instead try and fight you for hurting my pack member" I say, eyes sparkling.

I tilt my head slightly, confused "sheep? what are they? I would have said kangaroo but I'm guessing they don't live here" I say. I had never seen a sheep, only cattle, kangaroo's and other Australian wildlife. The only other creatures I had seen that weren't native to Australia were other dogs, some cats and once a tall horse. I shake my head, fluffing my whole body in the progress. I smile, tilt my head slightly, play coy and leap, trying to knock her over with brute bulk.

"Perhaps my standing to continue towards your camp was seen as a move or agression." Dax nodded. He watched as she seemingly shuddered. It was a shame as he could tell she was one to wait. That was something he only had the patience for a day or two. Dax would be willing to wait much longer with this one. She was different from the many other females he had encountered even as a sleddog. Dax didn't want her to leave his sight. And he was a derermined guy. But this issue with his lie about Jezzie would be an obstacle. Offering a grin back at her, the male nodded at her statement. It was respectable. Dax had not attacked her anyways.

The femme tilted her head at his wuestion. "Sheep have hooves like horses. Like clouds on four legs. Super fluffy!" She was knocked aside by his large body, laghing as his fluffy bulk tickled her belly. Twirling back to her feet, Miracle grinned and jumped, her foreleg draped over his neck while the other pawed at his head. Miracle liked playing with this male. Liked talking to him and being around him. She liked him.
