Jezzie kicked flowers over her scent so no one could follow her. She darted quickly through the maze of tall, winding trees. Jezzie ran faster and faster, listening to the pound of her paws on the ground.

I slow down. Jezzie's scent is disturbed by flowers, but they are not strong enough to cover her scent completely. I continue on, but at a slower pace. Luca had thought me many things so I could survive, and one was not to waste my energy. I was bred for speed and stamina so as I set off at a fast lope, I know that I will catch up to Jezzie. She is pregnant and will need to stop to rest longer than me. She may be able to run, but nothing would stop Me and the pack coming after her. A thought hits me, didn't she want to go home? She didn't know the way, so she could stumble into a trap and get killed. I speed up a bit, not wanting that to happen.

Dante was stunned for a second but then took off in Jezzie's direction. He was quite fast despite standing about a foot tall. He ran with his nose pointed to the ground, but the scent stopped abruptly at the edge of a forest. He sniffed the air. Nothing. "Jezzabelle?" he called. He saw canine paw prints pressed into the dirt. "Could be Jezzabelle," he muttered,"could be a rabid wolf." He thought he sighted Jezzabelle, he saw a quadruped figure running through the trees. Realizing he couldn't catch up he shouted "Jezzabelle! You have to go back! Youll be killed!" He doubled back and called for Luca to help.

(Umm... Dante can't catch up that fast, she is running at full speed)

Grinning, the male awaited her to come. "Yes, I would love to get to know you. You seem a lovely alpha." Nodded Dax. He could say other things, but he decided to keep it simple. Hopefully, she would be easygoing. he had not even thought about the wounds on his chest and neck. His mind was busied anyways. Muscled frame fluid and relaxed under his coat, he padded a but ahead of Luca, being attentive to keep his nose and eyes searching the trail to get to the water. "Now, what was all this about you leaving? I personally keep to my more feral side. The wolves can be accepting, you know?" Smirked Dax as he looked sideways to her. The surface of the stream became visible between trees as they neared the destination.

Beaming, she nodded. "So ready!" The femme made a thoughtful face at his question. "It wasn't so bad, really. I could hide in the snow! But there were lots of dogs, fluffy like us. We would be strapped to a big sled, and the man would tell us where to go! We all helped pull. But I just didn't want that to be my home. My home is with Sammi." Miracle grinned, curled fluffy tail wagging.

Jezzabelle was too far to hear Dante. Jezzie kicked more flowers over her scent and kept running. Jezzie's adrenaline kept her going. Jezzie darted through the forest, her heart pounding.

Dante yelled louder, but he was only humoring himself. She was too far to hear. Even if she did hear, she may not have listened. He started rushing back to the pack's territory, calling Luca. He stopped in front of Daxter and Luca, tripping and almost landing in the stream. "Luca!" he panted. "Jezzabelle ran away into the forest!@

I nod "I prefer the feral side, I lived with a wolf pack up until recently. They died and I was left alone. It was okay for a while, but these dogs have been abandoned here and I want to get them home" I say. Someone call's my name and I glance through the tree's. Breeze would deal with it, the pack needed to learn that they needed to go to her first and not take matters into their own paws. The stream appears and I sigh softly, I would be leaving this area soon, this stream would no longer be the stream I drank from. However, The journey needed to take place. "So why do you approach me instead of a wolf pack?". Suddenly Dante appears nearby. "I am currently busy dealing with the dog she attacked. Tell Breeze, I will be with you as soon as I am finished" I say softly, meeting his eyes.

I nod. "I know what it's like. I used to live in Australia. That is my home soil but my heart is with Max aswell" I say. It would take a while, but it was all worth it. Even if it took two years, Max would take me back, no matter what.
