Stargazer was padding throughh th forest, looking arund her. Something was wrong. She could smell blood. As Stargazer raced forward, the smell grew stronger. Then she saw a body, horrifyingly familiar, caught in a poachers trap. Then Stargazer realized that this was here old forest, her old home, and she was looking at her mother. "Mom?" she barked, panicked. "Mom! Mom, don't leave me!" She cried.She could see hat her mother had lost much blood. "help!" she caled out. "Please, help!" Stargazer grabbed a bunch of leaves off a bush and pressed them t the wound that she could get to. Then she tried to loosen the band of metal around her mother's belly. it was to tight, she couldn;t move it. "Stargazer," her mother barked in a faint whisper, "Stargazer, goodbye, my dear daughter." Stargazer's mother shuddered, and breathed no more. "Nooo!!!!" She howled, "Noooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!" Stargazer laid down and tears fell onto her mothr's mangle body. Then she woke up, and realised that she had cries out. She wasbreathing hard, and her mother's death semed closer than ever before.

Shadow looked around the box he was in the curled up into a unhappy ball

Stragazer caught her breath and muttered, "I wish I could have helped her." to herself, a little more loudly than she meant to.

Shadow "who?"

[WilloweWolf]

Stargazer looked sadly at Shadow, "My mother." She barked, "I was there wen she died, but couldn't do anything to save her. She was hunting, and got caught in a fox trap." She looked away sadly, and curled into a tight ball. Then she started to cry softly.

Shadow "im sorry to hear that."
