I rolled off of her back and hit a tree. With a groan I stood up.

"Are you okay?" Dakota asked, standing and shaking briskly.

Cody
I nod and shake. "Yah I'm fine."

[val.]

Dakota nodded, and turned starting to run again.

Cody
I stick my tongue out at her.

Dakota kept on running slowly, when a rabbit bursted out of it's hole. She torpedoed after it, snapping it in her jaws.

I watched her go and trotted back to the den. I jumped over to rock wall and looked at our food pile. I jumped back over the rock wall and began running. I ran out to the mall. I went to the dry foods and I got a bunch of bags of beef jerky. About 7. I dashed back to the den and set down the bags in the food pile.

Dakota came back at a slow walk, her head almost dragging on the ground. She sat down on the ground and let go of the rabbit. Shortly after, a few baby rabbits peeked their heads around the corner, and Dakota sadly looked over at them "I killed...their mother..." She said so quietly that she could barely hear herself.

I padded over. "It's alright.." I say and pad over to the baby rabbits. A few moments later they were sitting on my back. "I have a way with animals." I say before trotting away. I found a female rabbit and set down the babies with her. She sniffed them and then looked up at me before hopping away with them. I smiled and trotted back over. "There." I say and give Kota a nuzzle.

Dakota watched in silence, and was quite dumbfounded at Cody. She slowly licked her maw, and then looked at him with a confused expression. "B-B-But...."
