Together-Stray Dog Rp- Not Accepting

Sam finished off the ham. Though her throat burned from not drinking, she stood and again leaped of the platform of the playground with a loud thud. Her eyes gazed around, passing over the two dogs she spotted a puddle pretty close to the two dogs (Ames and Grey). She rolled her eyes and started running towards it. She dashed in quickly lapping up the water, if the dogs were watching, she didn't care. She then calmly turned and walked towards the platform.

Chiquita

Chiquita tensed up about to attack the foolish dog. I can get my own food, thank you very much! Chiquita was about to rant, but decided to stop herself. Kodi might be hiding something, plus after this fire there might not be a lot of food. It would be smart to be friends with this wolf after all- she was just trying to help me. But I must not seem to kind, what if she gets really hungry Chiquita stopped her thought and looked at the wolf, keeping eye contact and choosing her words very carefully. "Thank you for the rabbit. I had already killed one. If you want you could have it back because I am full," Chiquita was struggling, being extremely selfish. She wanted to yell in the dogs face! I could eat this rabbit! Why am I being kind? This is my food! Chiquita stopped talking and waited for Kodi to reply.

Kodi

Kodi didn't bat an eye. "Keep it," the German Shepherd said. "Times are tough." He could hear the tension in the other dog's voice. She seemed fairly small, and not as much a threat as a bigger dog, but Kodi knew better than to underestimate others, especially after his little run-in with a beauceron a few days ago; the scratch marks her claws had left would leave scars under his fur. "My apologies if I've offended you."

~Emmett Parker~

Emmett burst out laughing. He liked Leah, she reminded him of himself. He took one look at Lily then composed himself quickly. He cleared his throat and stood up straight and looked as if he was going to give a good long lecture. Then his head fell and he chuckled. He sat and ruffled Leah's fur. He laughed again and said, "Nice one kiddo. But we aren't getting married." Then he leaned in to her and whispered jokingly, "Although she might want too..."

~Illusion~

Illusion was confused. How did he not smell her? He stiffened but sighed and let his soft side show through. Last time that happened he ended up with his adopted daughter, Mahogany. Mahogany! Was she alright. He stiffened and said, "Er... Okay, Akira. Do you need help?" He sniffed the air, he could still smell Mahogany. Hopefully she would find food, while he would bring back another mouth to feed. "Also have you seen my adopted daughter as well?"

~Mahogany~

Mahogany smiled and said, "Awww. That smile was so cute!" She leaped up and smelled him again and nodded. Yes it was vanilla. "Mmmmm. You smell so good!" She laughed and jumped on the dumpster lid, "Is there any food in here?" She suddenly looked down shyly. It would be nice to have him with her all the time. He seemed nice enough, and Illusion was always so serious. Illusion. Would he let him come along? Could she even ask?

[Potato.]

Grey
Grey stretched his tired legs whilst listening intently to the other male with pricked ears. ''I agree. Assisting each other may prove to work out for our survival.'' he replied. Grey broke his gaze from Ames to take his own pause to think of the tragedy that all of the canines had to bear through. It had left everything in abandonment and burnt ruins- horrid really. Although it didn't show that such the event had any phase on him, and he intended to keep it that way. Breaking from his daze and back in to the reality, Grey shook his mauled ash-coloured pelt. Grey noticed the lone female a few paces away but it looked like she didn't want to be bothered, as much as he would like to approach her, it would be nice to befriend as much canines as he could. His thought was interrupted when he heard Ames speak of the trash can, he couldn't help but feel more-so curious and ever hungrier now. ''Alright, where is it located?'' Grey questioned, tilting his head to the side a few inches.

Ames

Ames nodded. He isn't trying to hurt me, maybe we can be in assistance to each other. He doesn't seem to be aggressive. Ames said, "Hello Grey. Maybe we could be in assistance of another, especially after the fire," Ames paused at the thought of the fire. He remembered the fire very well; although, he hoped he would never remember it. He could feel the fire nipping at his paws as he ran for days without food and little water. Shacking away the thought, he continued, "after the fire we could help each other find food. I have personally never hunted, never tried. I stick to trash cans, there is plenty of leftovers from the humans. I just found a really good one if you are hungry..."

Chiquita

Sam immediately stopped in her tracks, though she didn't turn around. Her ears perked at one of the dogs' saying trash can. She stood wondering if she should turn and talk to them, follow them to the can or just ignore what they said and hope to find food. She sat silent, "Trash can, and food" She said as quietly as she could to herself.

"If there's any food in them that I havnt touched, you can have it." He told her. He smirked slightly as she called his smile 'cute', and said he smelt good. "Ok then." He said. His voice was still slightly gravely, but not nearly as bad as when they started talking.

"Not that I know of, though my head does bloody hurt." The lab said, smiling slightly. "And not that I know of? I don't know who she is, or anyone but you is: I've only ever heard your name." She told her. She shrugged slightly, before letting her smile become a warm smile. She couldn't bite back the smile, and hoped he wouldn't ask about it.

Should she ask him to come with her? Or should she sing out the request. Illusion had always told her she was very good at it, although he thought it was a queer talent. She found a small clutter of brussel sprouts. A kid had thrown them away. She scooped them up in her mouth and found her way out of the dumpster. She leaped to his side and spat them out, "Like these?"She took one and bit it. It tasted wierd, but it was edible. "If not Illusion'll eat 'em!"

"Uh... Well, Im already sitting, if not, I'll force myself to stand..." She murmured quietly, sounding as if she were joking. The female lifted to her paws, standing still for a moment before taking a few steps foward. "I think I'm good." She told him. She felt stupid for having to act like a pup, testing her first few steps.

Ash watched her silently, smirking slightly as she came up with one of the yellow rubbery things that held food before the humans ate it. He saw her dive back in, before coming up with the green human food. His nose wrinkled in disgust as she ate one. "Uh, you can have them." He said quickly. He hated the human green foods: they had terrible favors.

[Potato.]

Grey
Grey tapped his tail on the hard ground, creating a small cloud of dust. He directed one ear towards the female stray, but kept the majority of his attention on Ames, awaiting to be directed to the trash can he said he had found. A low grumble erupted from his throat, unsatisfied with the lack of knowledge he had about the new stray- he couldn't help it that he loved to soak in information like a sponge. Finally, he stood up from his sitting stance and padded closer to the female. ''Ames, maybe we could let her tag along? She looks alone, maybe we could assist her too?'' he murmured to the other male. Grey kept his body low, not trying to look threatening, but also he was unsure of how to approach others in general.
