Emmett rolled his eyes but sat reluctantly. He chuckled and said, "Clearly I need to help you. If you think humans are going to help, you're wrong. He closed his eyes tightly and he visibly winced. Humans were a touchy subject for Emmett. They broke his heart when they abandoned him. He sighed and opened his eyes, "But yes, I'll agree to your terms. I'm Emmett Parker. Call me Emmett, or Parker, or Emmett Parker. Whatever really."

~Illusion~

Illusions eyes snapped wide open and he stumbled backward. He then went on defensive and quietly whispered, "Whose there?" He sniffed. Not Mahogany. He walked over to the fae, but refused to get too close, but the scent seemed eerily familiar. Like one he had smelled on a cold box long ago. She seemed harmless enough, but she could be waiting to leap, and fight to the death. He might win, and he wouldn't go down without a fight. He stared suspiciously, "If you want to hurt me, I know you're there."

~Mahogany~

Mahogany stepped forward instinctively, her tail wagging and eyes glowing, then froze. What had Illusion always told her? She could hear his deep voice now, Remember, trust no one you don't know. They could be an enemy. She rolled her eyes. Illusion was just too suspicious, but something told her to listen to his fatherly advice. She smiled at the dog and said in her pretty feminine voice, "Who are you?" Not thinking she padded over to him and sniffed his scruff. He smelled like dust and fire, but nowadays who didn't? She also didn't recognize the scent, but he seemed nice enough.

"H-hello..." She studdered, her eyes still clouded by white. She saw a hazy figure infront of her, and heard a deep voice. Sitting up slightly and shaking her head roughly, the female saw the stars slowly fading. "Illusion?" She murmured quietly.

Ash tilted his head slightly as she asked who he was. "Ash." He spoke, his voice rough still. He stiffed slightly as she stepped towards him, but relaxed slightly as she only sniffed his scruff. His scent was filled mostly of blood and ash, like his name, but it had a faint, but still strong scent of vanilla. He hadnt a clue why, except that his scent was of human vanilla.

Sam let out a snarl, another nightmare. She stood with a shake leaping down from the playground. Her eyes gazed around and she spotted two dogs, she wasn't in the mood right now to be friendly at all. She closed her eyes, with a sigh she trotted towards were she hid her food she would scavenge, the smell was getting stronger as she got closer. All that was left was half a ham, which she bit into and trotted back to the ladder. She climbed up and dug into the ham.

Illusion jumped back and then slowly slunk forward. He sniffed her again, but not as closely. He did not know this scent, but she seemed to know him. This was mysterious, and strangely awesome. He was appalled and smiled nervously. When he spoke his voice seemed quiet and full of awe, "Who are you?" He shook himself and his voice came out normal and suspicious, "And how do you know who I am?"

~Mahogany~

Mahogany cocked her head, and sniffed again. She laughed and licked her lips. He smelled bloody and dusty, but underneath was his scent. She wagged her tail, "You smell strange. Not in a bad way, in a good way! Kind of like that human thing.... what is it...." She cocked her head the other way, "I'm Mahogany, but I guess you already knew that," she giggled and pawed her nose as a fly landed on it.

Lily and Leah

"Well then,Emmet,welcome to our small pack. Glad to have you on the team." Lily told Emmet as she wagged her tail. "I'm Lily,the eldest sister,and this is-" "Hi there soon-to-be-brother-in-law! I'm Leah,the youngest sister. I hope I could attend your wedding!" Leah said,cutting of Lily's sentence.

Grey
His ear flicked in the direction of the soft thud of another's paws on the ground, and Grey's curious gaze quickly followed. He saw another male had somehow managed to approach this close without detection up until now. As the stranger, who had proclaimed himself to go by the name 'Ames' approached Grey, he thoughts quickly of what pre-judgment to label this male. He seemed pretty non-aggressive and friendly, two traits that Grey himself possessed. Perhaps we shall get along, he seems nice enough. he thought to himself quickly. Afterwards, he opened his maw to answer the newcomer, ''Greetings. And I'm Grey.''

Nellie

After a few minutes, Nellie had seen all she'd needed to see of the mall. This could be like my empire, she thought jokingly to herself. However, she had other plans. The fae darted to the nearest exit and emerged into the sunlight, squinting her eyes for a moment. She took a deep breath, about to howl, but thought better of it. I want to help others, but I hate crowds... She had an idea. The beauceron turned and ran back into the food court, jumped the counter of a random restaurant, and nosed the kitchen door open. The smell of beef hung in the damp air, and within minutes she was holding a tenderloin in her maw.
Nellie took it outside and headed for the nearest trashcan, knowing that other strays would target this object when looking for food. She carefully placed it on the rim of the trashcan, barked twice, then retreated back into the mall. I hope someone finds it.

Ames

Ames nodded. He isn't trying to hurt me, maybe we can be in assistance to each other. He doesn't seem to be aggressive. Ames said, "Hello Grey. Maybe we could be in assistance of another, especially after the fire," Ames paused at the thought of the fire. He remembered the fire very well; although, he hoped he would never remember it. He could feel the fire nipping at his paws as he ran for days without food and little water. Shacking away the thought, he continued, "after the fire we could help each other find food. I have personally never hunted, never tried. I stick to trash cans, there is plenty of leftovers from the humans. I just found a really good one if you are hungry..."

Chiquita

[center]Chiquita tensed up about to attack the foolish dog. I can get my own food, thank you very much! Chiquita was about to rant, but decided to stop herself. Kodi might be hiding something, plus after this fire there might not be a lot of food. It would be smart to be friends with this wolf after all- she was just trying to help me. But I must not seem to kind, what if she gets really hungry Chiquita stopped her thought and looked at the wolf, keeping eye contact and choosing her words very carefully. "Thank you for the rabbit. I had already killed one. If you want you could have it back because I am full," Chiquita was struggling, being extremely selfish. She wanted to yell in the dogs face! I could eat this rabbit! Why am I being kind? This is my food! Chiquita stopped talking and waited for Kodi to reply.

"Um... Akira..." The lab muttered, still blinking slightly. "And I've been in this alley for about a week, I've seen you quite a few times..." She explained. The female shook her head again, finally able to see clearly. Suddenly, she felt her ear tips heating up: he was Handsome. She had thought about him as cute from afar, but up close, her ears burned.

Ash smiled with half his mouth. Her laugh had an interesting affect on him. He felt his tail start to wag quickly behind him. "Um, vanilla..." He murmured quietly. "Yes, I know your name." He told her, smiling. His tail waved still behind him.
