Lark waited till Grey fell asleep, before taking her blanket off and putting it on him. "Sweet dreams..." She said softly turning to the alleyway. She sat and watched for anything, another dog or something.

Lily and Leah

Leah budded in on everything,so she starting speaking without a notice,"Of course we know how to def-," Lily cut her off as she replied to Parker,"Not exactly,but this runt here sure does in a way. Leah growled and tried to show off while Lily was talking to Emmet. "Hey Emmet,watch this!" She exclaimed as she jumped out,growling and barking.

Emmett Parker laughed and leaped back. He wagged his tail and gently pushed Leah back. "I'll have to teach you. Leah, aim somewhere when you attack, don't just jump out at me. Lily can you go in and get some food, so we can eat while I teach you guys?" He gave her a charming smiled and looked at her with eyes that said Please.. and turned back to Leah.

Before she could bite her lip, she spoke, "I'm not afraid, just embarressed." She told him quickly. She didn't want him thinking she was afraid, a sign of weakness: then again, shewasnt all that sure that embarresment was any better. She let her tail untuck, but still hang behind her, and her ears return to their normal floppiness.

Grunting, Ash looked away. He felt his ears slowly pinning against his head as the pup- she was at least a year younger than him, a pup in his eyes- told of a bit of her past. "I'm sorry you have been treated so terribly by others, especially males: the ones like that ruin the image of other males, the good males." He said, passion exploding within his deep voice. He turned to look at her fully. "I have quite a short temper, and my past has made me a monster, and I must admit that I have killed quite a few of my kind, forced by a human. It is not me I am worried about." He said, before casting his whole head away and to his paws. His voice had no longer been filled with passion. Only greif, humiliation, and shame towards himself.

Illusion smiled gently and said, "There's no need to be embarrassed about your injuries. I don't think of it as something bad or something that is to be ashamed of." He looked at her and grinned. She looked much less in pain when she seemed relaxed. He looked forward and saw the box where they had been sleeping earlier, "Hey, Lay in here.

Mahogany was suddenly afraid of the brute. Why was he so concerned about her? She knew she had every right to be afraid, but she felt guilty. This brute had done nothing to harm her! She sat down and said, "I'm sorry about your past, but don't worry about me. I trust you, I trust you not to hurt me or Illusion. Plus I don't judge dogs by their past or what people have done to them!" She looked at him and was deeply saddened. He seemed so sad, and upset. She didn't believe that he would do anything to harm them. She whimpered and said, "Its alright. Don't be sad."

Thinking to herself, the female sighed. 'It's not my injuries I'm embarresed about, its being a fool infront of someone as handsome as you!' her mind barked inwardly, yet she managed to say 'handsome' and 'you', although she didnt notice.

Ash sighde quietly to himself, not lifting his head. "Although you may trust me, I cannot trust myself." he said. Sun suddenly poked into the alley, bringing out the white of his pelt quite brightly. The brute pinned his ears.

Nellie

Nellie loped across the mall's parking lot, a huge steak in her jaws. Whoever finds this, I hope they savour it. She kept running until she hit a neighbourhood. The scents of other dogs assailed her nostrils, making them flare as she took in all the new smells, as well as the overwhelming smell that came from the steak. She struggled to keep her mouth from watering all over it.
That seems like a good spot, she thought as she spotted a trashcan sitting beside a damaged house. Nellie carefully placed the steak into the trash can, praying that its alluring scent would attract hungry dogs. The fae examined her work before turning tail and fleeing back in the direction of the mall.

Ames trotted up to the trashcan hungrily. He pushed the trash around until he found leftovers of chiacken. Mmm Ames thought. He heard Lark and Grey fighting and thought, please don't argue! If we are going to live together, we must learn to get along! He walked away from the trashcan with the chicken in his jaws. He came back to see Lark putting a blanket on Grey.It looks like they might be getting along now. Too bad Grey is sleeping, I was going to share this chicken, it is quite large. Ames whispered to Lark, "Lark would you like some chicken? I have plenty. We should probably save some for Grey too though."

Chiquita

Chiquita was shocked to hear that Kodi was forgiving her and that she was actually quite similar. Wow, she thought I can not believe that he forgave me. If she surprised herself by sharing, we might actually work well together. She looked up and her tail left the spot between her legs as she responded, "No. I have never been in a pack before, but I was never invited either. Have you been in a pack before?"

Kodi shuffled his paws and sat down, feeling slightly more relaxed now that Chiquita was too. "Nah," he replied, "never had a pack. I mean, sure, my mother raised me with my siblings, but then we all got adopted out to different humans. I haven't had the chance to be part of a pack yet. But now the humans are gone..."
I'm going on a tangent, he thought. Though it was true: there hadn't seemed to be any humans in sight after the fire. Perhaps now it was time for dogs to rule supreme. If only...

Chiquita

Chiquita nodded, at least she knew that she wasn't the only one that was a "loner" so to speak. Chiquita replied, "I'm sorry." After a moment of silence, she continued, "Maybe we could live together. Not necessarily a pack, but just as friends. It would keep us from being so lonely. Plus, we could probably catch more prey like this." She looked at him, waiting for a reply.

Grey
Grey woke with a slight shiver, and to the scent of chicken wafting to his nostrils. Opening one eyelid, the male proceeded to raise his head to glance and see where this watery scent was coming from. Once seeing it was Ames who had recovered some of the leftover poultry, Grey stood up and shook his coat. Only then did he recognize the blanket that had slid off when he stood up, and it was Lark's. Alrighty then. I wonder why she would do such a thing. It's not like I would get cold. Grey thought to himself quickly before gathering it's old cloth in his maw and trotting over to both of his acquaintances. Regardless of the reasons behind the action, he appreciated the kind thought. He halted beside the two strays and glanced at both, hoping he wasn't interrupting anything. Quickly, Grey dropped the blanket beside Lark's paws, ''I believe this is yours. I don't really need it. Although I appreciate the gesture.'' he mumbled quickly before breaking his gaze to speak to Ames, ''Looks like you scavenged up a good meal.'' Grey spoke, glancing down at the scraps of chicken which were fair-sized pieces.
