Chiquita

Chiquita trotted around smelling the air. Where is the food today? she wondered. There are usually plently of rabbits and rodents to hunt. Running past her usual street and going to a new one, she saw a rabbit. She crouched down on her belly and began to quickly and quietly crawling towards the rabbit. When the wind picked up, revealing her scent, she began to sprint rapidly after the rabbit.

Ames

Ames awoke as the sun rose. Standing up tiredly and yawning he decided to get breakfast. He jumped up to the trashcan putting his front two paws on the edge of the trash can. He nuzzled around in the trashcan looking for some leftovers that the humans may have left behind. He smeeled beef, and grabbed half a chesseburger and began to devour it. Mmm, it is still warm. This is one of my best meals in weeks!

Description: "Look at me... Isn't that enough?"
Personality: "We'll, honestly, the only reason I'm with these dogs is because my leg got burnt quite badly in that darn fire, and I can't get food as easily as I should... I don't really like being around these dogs, or any dogs for that matter. I guess you could call me anti-social. If you don't talk to me, your better off. If you can manage to get to me, though, then I am kind, and caring."
Other: "I suppose Mahogany is cute, but she is a year younger than me, and no one ever likes a grouch like me.

Nellie

Nellie patrolled a degenerated human home, her nose twitching. A crow cawed at her from a wooden beam dangling precariously from the house's roof. She took it as an indication that there was food nearby. The beauceron carefully picked her way across the threshold and began digging in the northeast corner. It was there, under the dirt, that she found a steak still in its packaging. She tore it apart fiercely, having not eaten for at least a week. A bit of blood spattered her muzzle, and her long pink tongue cleaned it away with one swipe.
After finishing her meal, Nellie spotted a white box laying toppled over a few feet away. She padded toward it and placed her paw in a small gap, then pulled the door open. Not much was in the box except for a couple hot dogs and a carton of spoiled milk. Nellie wrinkled her muzzle at the obnoxious scent but shrugged. Food is food, after all, she thought.

Kodi

The German shepherd stalked through the strip of woods behind an old neighbourhood, his senses leading him straight toward a rabbit warren. He could just taste the fresh, juicy rabbit as he devoured it; his first meal in two weeks. As he approached, he caught the scent of another dog on the breeze. I wonder if they're after rabbits too. Kodi knew that other dogs were bad news, especially when it came to food. He decided to shrug it off and continue forward. The warren came into view; a small hole in the side of a ditch. He crept along a tree that had fallen into the ditch and waited right above the warren. Thankfully, he was downwind.
A few moments later, a little brown shape emerged from the den. Kodi's light green eyes glimmered with hunger as the creature hopped over to a clover and nibbled on the purple flower. Kodi bunched his muscles and then sprang, his front paws pinning the little animal to the hard ground. It squeaked once, then was silenced as the dog's teeth nipped its neck. Satisfied, the German shepherd carried his prize back to the shade of an oak and began to feast, finishing his meal in no time.
Maybe I should catch something for the other dog, he thought as he rose to his paws and started back toward the ditch. Sure enough, another rabbit poked its head out of the warren. It bounced up the side of the ditch and toward Kodi unawares. I'll chase it toward them, he decided. He let out a ferocious bark, startling the rabbit. It perked its ears, glanced once at him, then took off running toward the direction of the other dog's scent. There you go.

Ames

Ames finished his scrumptious cheeseburger and continued looking through the trashcan. Napkins, ketchup, pizza Ames picked up the pizza and chewed it rapidly looking back into the trashcan for more. This is a goldmine! I need to come back here again! He found cords, wrappers, plastic, and other in editable items. I am still a bit hungry- half a piece of pizza and half a cheeseburger is not enough- oh look, here is a corndog with only a bite taken out of it! Ames ate the corndog so fast that he didn't notice it was still on a stick. Soon he was chocking and coughing loudly. I hope the pound people don't hear me making all this noise!

Chiquita

Chiquita sprinted as fast as her little legs would take her. In seconds she was only inches away from her rabbit! It is so close I can nearly taste it! Chiquita opened her mouth and stuck out her tongue. As soon as it touched the rabbit she made her final leap landing on the rabbit.

Instantaneously killing it by biting its neck, she immediately began to devour it. Blood covered her muzzle and paws, but she didn't care, it was meat! Fresh, tasty meat! When she was finished with her rabbit she stood up, and heard a bark. Where did that come from? Soon she saw a scared rabbit running towards her, and without thinking, she chased after it. When it was caught, she stood there with it dangling from her mouth. Who was that, and why did they help me? Where are they now? Should I eat this rabbit, I just ate. I cannot waste it. I am a little hungry. But what if the other dog was starving? Where is he? She barked and waited for a response.

Other (optional): Cody had gone through a LOT of tragedy. He had to watch his mother and father get killed infront of his own eyes and his sister was drowned afterwards. He has a high fear of foxes, for they gave him a scar along his back, His brother, Jake, died in the fire so Cody is Anti-social to many other dogs and when his family is mentioned he can get emotional and, although the tragedy with his sister, LOVES to swim.

Lily and Leah

Lily walked on the dead street,with Leah behind her. "Leah,if you don't hurry up,the puppy monster is gonna get ya!" Lily exclaimed,trying to get her to walk faster. "But stuff like that isn't even real." Leah said,panting and trying to catch her breath. "Man,you're really lazy. Do you want food or what? If you had trudged faster,we would have been there already! There's something called a supermarket with loads of food. I'm not sure if it burned down or if it's still up." Lily yelled to Leah,the one-year-old-lazy-puppy. "Also,we might find some other Siberian Huskies that might want to be your friend on the way!" Lily called really loudly,trying to get someone to hear her. Leah paced faster,listening to what her elder sister had said. She really wanted friends,she had lost all her friends when the fire started. They were all separated,except for her and her big sister.
