Merveille was born in the wild, like most of the horses around here. the herd she lived in consisted of twelve mares, and two stallions. the lead stallion and a colt. she was unaware of the dangers the herd had, and the day came when men came on other horses to lasso up more. she was a target, with her being so young they wanted her and her mother. as they ran across the plain the men followed close behind. they managed to lasso the colt and her mother. she, being a foal followed her mother without a lasso. when they made it to the ranch, they were set loose in a large pen, with the colt. when the humans got to close her mother would rear up and crash her hooves down. one of the men thought it was too dangerous to keep the mare because she was with a foal he tried to release them, but was caught. another man separated the two, putting the mare in a different pen to be tamed. while they put the foal in another. well she grew up on that ranch, as nothing more than a field horse. running in the field with other horses. she was never fully tamed or ride able, nor were the others. one day while on the edge of the fence she discovered a large gap in the fencing and escaped. a few others coming with her. she parted from them and went off on her own.

Lillyanna, or Lilly as she likes to be called, is a rather strange mare. One side of her shows is fearless and bold. The other is shy and sweet. She is not scared of facing down danger and will do anything to protect her loved ones. In her old herd she was the "babysitter" and loved watching the foals. This gave her a understanding and happy personality. Though she was born being strong willed and stubborn. She will not do something till she is good an ready. She is a kind mare though as you may have guessed and would never really hurt anyone, she is really only all talk. She is pretty bubbly and fun when you get to know her, however she tends to be timid when a stallion comes around. Stallions are her only fear as she has been mistreated by them. Now for the surprising part, she is a very quite talker, even when mad. Sometimes you can hardly hear her.

Born to a large herd Lilly was smaller then the other foals. She grew fast though and was able to out run them all at a few months old, even those older then her. She loved to race and race, this got her into lots of trouble with the lead mare and her father. She was always being told what to do and what not to do. Later she was put in charge of the foals, by then she was about 2 Years old. She still acted like a foal herself sometimes. Racing the young ones and enjoying life despite the herds rules. On a warm spring day her father was challenged by another stallion. As they fought a young stallion come up and snaked her and two of the other younger mares. Again she was told what to do and when to do it, though she was never physically abused she was verbally abused. This gives her a quite voice and she doesn't speak much. Later the small herd was taken ill, all died but her and another mare. The two traveled for a few months together but the other mare soon joined up with another herd and Lilly was left alone managing to stay way from stallions and other mares.

Lillyanna is a sort of mixed mare, she is part quarter horse and can run fairly fast because of this. She is a light bay color and has kind eyes and a think mane that gives her bangs.

Sorato has an average personality, consisting of a usual formality with him. He'll be polite and kind, but can also get quite annoyed sometimes, if he is bugged enough. He's considerate and gentle, and seems to be more of a friend than a herd leader if anything, and he'll use his friendly nature to get the mares. He'll get very protective over his mares and even his friends, and he'll understand if a mare snaps at him due to her foal; that's the only time he'll put up with it.

Sorato was born into a herd, and at the age of 3 years was kicked out by his herd stallion leader. He had never known why he was thrown out before the other foals from his year, and one day, when secretly meeting up with his mother, he found out the truth behind his exile. The herd stallion had found out that he, in fact, was not part of the herd due to the fact that Sorato was not his son. His mother had been snaked from the week of her heat, and when the herd leader snaked her back, she was already pregnant with him. Now, he wants to start his own herd.

A chestnut thoroughbred of average weight and 16.8 hh. He's got white marks on his legs, making his coat color be known as chestnut overo, though it is common that he is mistaken to just be chestnut. Personality wise, Sorato is kind and considerate and he uses his friendly nature to get the mares, though he wants particular mares, not just every one. He's very average, so he sometimes feels awkward that he has no strength like the other stallions.

Shiina is a bit eccentric when it comes to personality. She is a very quite mare in general, and the way she nickers is very soft and high pitch. She speaks in such a hushed voice that it is so different that it causes others to hush to hear her speak. She almost whispers, and says horses' names a bit too much, almost in a strange but poetic way. She says that oddest of things when she does speak, but she doesn't very often. She can be found looking at her reflection in wonder or confusion, or even just gazing out quietly deep in thought. She has wanted a foal for a while.

Shiina doesn't speak much of her history, but from what we know, she was born to a loner mare, exiled for some unknown reason. She was treated as a demonic spirit, due to her unnaturally white color known as cremello. It is pretty much like the albino of the horse colors. Shiina was caught by humans, both her and her mother, and they were taken to an auction, where luckily, they were bought by a loving family. Her mother was taught to be a carriage horse and worked for the family, but Shiina, being a small filly, was played with by the children. Although she liked it a bit, Shiina preferred not being enclosed and so when her mother was out at work one day, she escaped. This was after she had turned three years, and she has lived on her own for a while, making her a bit of a recluse.

Cloud, being a bit older than most others expect, has learned a respect towards mares. He is still willing to show them who's boss. He does show that he knows more, and isn't afraid to stand up to others. He is a strong, wise stallion and isn't to be messed with. But like us all, he has his flaws. He does have his respect for mares and will not engage into fights with them. He doesn't like making mares upset. Cloud is a very caring stallion and takes good care of his mares and foals. Cloud, however, becomes extemely protective. He will often kick out colts as soon as they have become accustomed to grass. But that is only if he can tell they are becoming a problem.
History - He has lived here his whole life. But he lost his large herd one day, a bunch of bachelors ganged up on him. He certainly fought his hardest, but the scars that adorn his body that he was outnumbered. There were too many for him to handle. It was his downfall, and his mares are off farther than he dares to travel alone. But dignity keeps him from joining bachelors. He was forced to join them but he gets first pick, being the Lead in a sense.

Black Rose is a fun mare to be around, and loves her foals {even thought she has none}. She loves to play about, and this can often amuse others. It certainly keeps rowdy foals amused. But her heritage doesn't bode well with many horses. It is a very dark past, but she doesn't like to dwell on it. She actually tries to avoid it, but most horses misunderstand her intentions of skirting around the subject. She can be paranoid, thinking that horses or people of her past are haunting her. It is all in her head, but sometimes she can't really tell it from reality. But playing about helps keep her mind off it.
History - How about she start with how she is part Friesian? In a freak accident at her father's barn, the police-trained stallion found himself in the wild with a few other horses while his barn perished in a fire. He met a beautiful wild mare while wandering back to the barn and gave her Black Rose. He then left the mare when the band stallion chased him away. He found himself back at his destroyed barn. Few other horses had survived and they were kept in a pasture until the barn was rebuilt. By this point in time, Black Rose had been born. While the police were out patrolling near Black Rose's child herd, they found one of their beloved Friesians... dead. So, they vowed they would prove a point to the wild horses. Black Rose's mother was killed in the process of them 'proving their point'. (Black Rose was weaned by this time and was more than ready to survive on her own.) She then became a loner, looking for a herd.

Personality; Flicker was a very quite and sweet horse before she met the stallions, when she became wild and he broke her heart it changed her, she became icy and fiery at the same time as making her love most stallions, she hates it when horses call her dis loyal and his very protective of her friends. She is very smart, brave and good at thinking quickly. However she does jump to conclusions and can end up getting in to disagreements because of this.

History; This mare has spent most of her life as a ranch horse and was born in to the hands of men, she never knew that she had a choice in life, she thought that the men were her masters and she was very loyal to them for this reason many horses called her disloyal to her breed, but one day when grazing in her field when a wild stallion trotted over she had seen him a couple of times but not thought much of it. Then he called to her and she was rather startled by this so she went over and they got talking and he said she didn't have to live as the humans slave. He told her if she could escape she could have a place in her herd, and so the very next day when they came to tack her up she fought back and injured one of them, however she was badly hurt and when she got to the stallions herd he said he wanted nothing to do with her. So she left his with a broken heart that turned icy cold towards stallions.

She was then left alone in the wild to fend for her self and is now wondering the land on her own...
