THE BASICSname;; Meet Zephyr, a spunky young border collie with big dreams. Named after a wind, this sweet girl is definitely athletic enough and has enough energy to keep up with her namesake. Born into a small family by a responsible breeder, Zephyr's life has been one of comfort. Due to her short attention span, Zephyr can be very destructive if she becomes bored. To compensate, she is set free to roam the streets as long as she's back by nine. She doesn't go by any nicknames.age;; At the tender age of two, Zephyr has much to see and learn. gender;; Zephyr is obviously a female.breed;; Even though some might mistake her for an Australian Shepherd, Zephyr is none other than a blue merle Border Collie.

THE FACE IN THE MIRROR
height;; Zephyr is a medium sized dog, around two feet when she's not prancing around on her hind legs.
weight;; A slender little pup, this girly weighs in at about thirty pounds give or take.
fur shade;; Beautiful silvery-blue-white fur with black patches. Zephyr certainly catches attention.
eye color;; Zephyr's right eye is chocolate brown, and her left one is ice blue.
general description;; No doubt about it, Zephyr is one beautiful dog. She may not be purebred, or "pageant quality gorgeous," but her luxurious coat and twinkling gaze have a certain magic. With medium length blue merle fur and a long, feathery tail, there's nothing standing in Zephyr's way. Her ears stand mostly upright, with the tiniest fold at the top. Her coat is silky and always clean, and her teeth are kept pearly white, nails clipped regularly. It is obvious that Zephyr is taken good care of. A purple leather collar adorns her neck, with a petite silver bone dangling off it. This bone has her name and address on it, important information. Zephyr is smart enough to know that she must not loose it. As far as her body structure goes, Zephyr is slim, but strong and athletic. Her body is toned, and she can perform many tricks. When visible, Zephyr's skin is spotted pink and black. Paws, nose, mouth and all. Even underneath all of that fur, her skin is still a mix of the two. No matter where she goes, Zephyr walks with pride, assuming she's in charge. Her body language says it all. Perked ears, tall head, upright tail and prancing walk. Yes, Zephyr is proud of who she is.
AND WHO ARE YOU REALLY
likes;; Although there are many, many things that please Zephyr, some of her favorite things are thunderstorms, warm weather, birdsong, sports, night, and stars. She also enjoys music and swimming.
dislikes;; Even the most open being will have things that they don't like. Some things this young dog doesn't appreciate are humidity, goodbyes, the word "moist," spiders, and smart-alecs.
fears;; Normally a very brave little girl, Zephyr fears death, being totally alone, spiders, snakes, endings, and tight spaces. If it was someone else, Zephyr would encourage them to face their fears, but she herself refuses to do so.
strengths;; Zephyr is a well-rounded dog, but she excels in running, making friends, intelligence, bravery, and what she calls"singing." Her singing is really howling her own little melodies, though she can also carry a few human tunes.
weaknesses;; Everyone has flaws, a place where you can hit them hard. Zephyr is risky, very heartstrong and headstrong, impatient, and too trusting of others.
personality;; If she hasn't seen it before, Zephyr must investigate it. This natural instinct of curiosity keeps the young dog interested in the world around her. There's something new every single day, and that curiosity kicks in. Zephyr just can't resist going and checking it out. Zephyr is far from your average dog, that you can tell from the start. Looking beyond her unique coat color and beautiful eyes all you can see is difference. A stark contrast from the rest of the dog population. Although she is defiantly not insane, Zephyr has a few traits that could be deemed almost childish in nature. For example, no matter how old she has gotten, Zephyr could never, never resist hunting down a butterfly in order to feel it's gossamer wings tickle her nose. Of course, she would never harm the small creature beyond giving it a puff of air. Not to mention her pull towards showing off all of her impressive tricks. She is quite misunderstood, and even though she can be a ruthless killing machine on prey, this is the face that some chose to point on her. But, that is not the true Zephyr. it is only who she pretends to be when she's afraid.
Instead, she is a kind and gentle soul, quite unpredictable, though in a fun way, and she adores a good joke of any kind, as long as they aren't dirty. Not that she only likes to listen to jokes, Zephyr can throw more than a few funny comments out there herself, and she'll seize any chance she can to add one. While she is rather quiet when you meet her, this lovely she-dog does open up to a select few of her friends, most often those who she feels connect to her in some way.
history;; Born into a life of luxury, Zephyr has not known much pain in her two years. Her mother was always there for her, and her two siblings her constant companions. However, her brothers were snatched up as soon as possible, Zephyr remained with her mother for another year before being sent to a shelter. While she stayed with her mother, she had to watch as Katrina raised another litter of puppies. That required a lot of attention to those pups, and Zephyr was shunted to the side, instilling a deep-set desire to show off. Once she was sent to a shelter, she was adopted quickly, something the young Zephyr was very grateful for. Within a few weeks, she was off to another home that seemed loving. Her new owner was a woman of about twenty, who kept Zephyr's original name for her. The woman -Joy- was an artist, and spent many of her days holed up in the living room painting or sculpting. During the summer, she took it upon herself to train Zephyr to be a wonderful and talented dog, letting her show off her natural abilities. Finally, Zephyr was in her element. Not only was she allowed to, but when she performed, she was rewarded by tidbits of meat. One day, Zephyr ran out of the house when Joy came in with the groceries. She was chased all over town by the young woman, who got the hint that Zephyr wanted to be let out once she'd caught her dog. So a rule was set: she could go out all she wanted, as long as she was back by nine. Zephyr was happy to follow Joy's instructions, so Joy made a doggy door for her. Due to the lack of fences in their yard, Zephyr could simply waltz into town whenever she pleased.
Her freedom was a mistake one day though. While sniffing around in the park, she was attacked by another dog. They ripped up her shoulders and belly, and just barely missed her life-artery in the neck. Her collar saved her. Zephyr ran back as fast as she could to her house, dripping blood all the way. Once she got back to Joy, the woman rushed her to the vets right away where she was in intensive care. Zephyr didn't know how long she was there, but when she got out again, she was weak. Scarred and healing still, Joy carried her dog into the house. For several days afterwards, Zephyr ate only mashed up things, and didn't go out for even longer. Fortunately, it was beginning to cool off as winter approached, so her interest in the outdoors was waning. After she was deemed fit, Zephyr did not take advantage of her freedom until spring came. She had hardly gone outside except to use the bathroom, and then she'd only go when Joy was with her. Then her trauma passed as her curiosity got the better of her. And so Zephyr resumed life as if nothing had happened, though she was never as enthusiastic about meeting new dogs if they were larger than her.

THE BASICSname;; Sparrow. A simple sort of name, really. This adventurous pup is named after a small bird, as he's small himself. However, Sparrow's extensive personality and character really flow out of his compact body. He's too big for his skin, really. Unlike Zephyr, Sparrow was born on the streets to a stray. She left him after the milk stopped, and the tiny Sparrow had to fend for himself. Luckily, one of the kind residents in Chickadee found him. He took Sparrow in, only to find that the smallest presents are sometimes the best ones. The sneaky pup squirms out from under his fence to explore the streets during the day.age;; Sparrow has a lot of life left in him at a youthful five months. gender;; It's fairly obvious that Sparrow is a male.breed;; Technically unknown, since Sparrow cannot remember his mother or father. He is a mixed breed, believed to have husky or German Shepherd -or even a little wolf.THE FACE IN THE MIRROR
height;; A little shorty, Sparrow stands in at about ten inches.
weight;; Even with his puppy fat, Sparrow only reaches twelve pounds.
fur shade;; Sparrow has a rusty tan-and-grey coat.
eye color;; This young pup has deep, liquid brown eyes.
general description;; Still a pup, Sparrow has plenty of growing to do. He's still rather petite, and a tad bit scrawny for his age. Bat-like huge ears sit perked on top of his head. He has a long, skinny tail with a little curve to it. Where you can see it, his skin is black. Like a cat, Sparrow's body is no wider than his head, which allows him to squirm into tight spaces. Even though his owner -Thomas- does his best to keep the little dog clean, within the week, Sparrow has found something revolting to roll in -usually mud or another animal that'd perished. Unsurprisingly, Sparrow has sweet little "puppy dog eyes," that he uses to keep himself out of being punished. Around his slender neck is a beautiful woven rope color with a bronze circle with his information. Sparrow is so slender, you can see his ribs slightly. He has a large rib cage, and will grow to be a large dog. No matter how much he eats, Sparrow is almost always hungry due to a large growth-spurt coming. He may be small now, but not for long.

AND WHO ARE YOU REALLY
likes;; words

weaknesses;; words
personality;; Sparrow is a happy-go-lucky guy, with a naturally likable disposition and a talent for finding trouble. A cheery face and open eyes let Sparrow make friends easily, he's very lovable. He can seem very quirky and odd, but in reality, Sparrow is wicked smart, with a mind as sharp as a knife blade honed to perfection. A very good actor, this sweetheart can make himself seem lonely, stupid, and confused easily, which helps him gain access to otherwise unavailable places. However, he doesn't use this talent to do anything that would get him in deep trouble, making him a somewhat "good boy." Not that he's totally sugar and spice, Darius is also a bit of a tramp, as he adores causing mischief of every sort. Sparrow does realize that having important connections is a great idea, so he tries to play nice with everyone in order to keep those he loves safe.
A deep respect for those older and wiser than him led Sparrow into the nickname, though it was used playfully by everyone, of "teacher's pet." Sparrow comes from a long line of "huggy" people, and so he doesn't like to be too far away from anyone, though if the occasion arises, he will go on and be independent. This also means that he is a total "pack animal," and likes to have some form of contact. When alone, Sparrow tends to talk or mutter to himself, not in an insane way, but just like you'd do in your head, except for out loud because he needs the familiar noise of a voice. Overall, Sparrow is in no way the definition of "normal," partly because of his quirks and odd habits, but also because there is no definition of normal. Sparrow certainly gives himself a bigger name than the one that first appears.
Sparrow is naturally curious, and has to find out how everything works. No matter how tough he may seem, Sparrow is really just a little softy. It takes a lot to hurt his feelings though, because of his easy personality. Always one for something new, Sparrow is daring. That's why he snuck out of his safe yard in the first place.
history;; Life was rough for a while for the young Sparrow. Born literally on the streets, the other members of his litter perished in a frost. He remembered that his mother piled the bodies on top of her only surviving pup to keep him warm. Frankly, Sparrow was disgusted by it, but was too cold and weak to argue. Once her milk dried up, Sparrows mother simply walked away from the whimpering pup. Had his owner not found him within the hour, he would've perished from the cold. As it was, he was on the edge of hypothermia and had to be revived by a veterinarian. Thomas -the man who'd found him- quickly fell in love with the energetic pup and kept him for his own. Initially, Sparrow was to afraid to go anywhere near Thomas, and wouldn't even eat with him in the same room. Eventually, he warmed up to the man, and one day even sat on his chest while they watched a movie. However, the amount of outside time he was getting did not make Sparrow happy. Since Thomas was gone from five in the morning until eight at night, Sparrow had plenty of time to get out. By slipping under a loose slat in the wooden fence, Sparrow could get out into the alleyway and from there, the whole of Chickadee. As long as Thomas never saw him, Sparrow could continue in his adventures. He did race the man home a few times, but always won by a few moments. Thomas was always so tired he didn't notice that Sparrow looked winded. He did always notice if Sparrow had rolled in something though, and immediately gave him a bath. Then he'd usually collapse on the couch and read or watch the television while Sparrow dozed off on his chest.
Sparrow did his best to keep the house free of pests. He chased the mice, birds, squirrels, and even a possum once off his territory. Sometimes, to show his affection, Sparrow would bring a half-eaten creature to Thomas and set it on his dirty dinner plate. He wanted Thomas to partake in his kill. Thomas, however, was not impressed and always threw away the carcass. Sparrow was never deterred and continued the habit until Thomas wouldn't let him in if he had a dead animal with him. So Sparrow stopped and just caught what he considered prey on his daily rounds only.
