Sunset slowly walked back towards Devil, eyeing the black stallion. The roan mare pricked her ears at Aspen but then decided otherwise as she returned to her salt lick.

Pip threw her head up and reared landingwuth a thud "Sunsetyiu can havethus one" she said "sorry biut before" she said

Devil Fire

Devil snorted as Evergreen came up to him, apologizing to him. The fiery stallion shook his head. "It's fine. A stuck hoof can't be helped." Devil nuzzled Evergreen briefly, before looking back at King's herd, where a mare seemed to be acting up out of fear and shock. He snorted, nudging Aspen towards his herd once more, though his touches were brief and gentle. However, if she decided to run he'd be on her in no time flat.

Devil snorted softly, addressing his herd. "We will stay here for the time being, but we will probably move in a few days or so." Devil didn't say it, but he didn't like the threat of another stallion so close to his herd. Of course, this was a stallion instinct, so he knew that King felt just as uneasy. Where there were more than one stallion, tensions tended to fly high. If King didn't move his herd soon, then Devil would move his. Herds were not meant to be so close to each other, and that was just that. Devil reared with a loud, threatening neigh, once more stating that this was their territory, and no one was to cross it.

With that done, Devil cocked his hoof, resting his rump slightly. He didn't lie down, though, staying near Aspen as she hadn't really made her full decision yet. Devil was still waiting for her answer, not that it really changed matters, but it would be nice to know where her loyalties lay. Devil watched as Sunset seemed to deliberate on whether she wanted to come over, before she seemed to decide not to. Devil let out a soft call to her, before using his muzzle to point her toward the river. Though salt was good, too much would dehydrate the body, so Devil didn't want Sunset to faint or anything like that.

Sunset pricked her ears at Devil. He seemed to want her to go to the stream. With a confused expression she obliged, yet as soon as she took a step she freezed. The mare could smell Breeze, anxious to pretend she hadn't scented anyfhing she continued, trying to relax.

Devil Fire

Devil snorted as he saw Sunset walk towards it confusedly. He chuckled at her confusion, before nosing Aspen. "Make yourself at home." He said, flicking his head toward the mares, telling her that she could go talk with the other mares or just graze. He smirked as he trotted toward Sunset, clarifying himself. "Go drink some water. Too much salt will make you dehydrated." He clarified softly. She seemed to be hiding something though, so Devil cocked his head, narrowing his eyes. "Something wrong?" Had he miscalculated something? Were they in danger? No, didn't seem like it...

The palimino snorted softly to devil she whinny and follow him towards sunset nudgjng his neck "oh devil your hurt" she said softly lipping his mane smelling breeze she froze but shiok her head i nudge in between his eyes

"Oh right..." Sunset trailed off, drinking water. As she satisfied her thirst her mind raced, thinking how to avoid the question. Lifting her head nervously, her voice shook as she lied, "It's...uh..that cave over there, I thought it looked familiar." She snorted, pointing her muzzle in the direction a large crevice in the rock.

She looked ar Devil who was nexted to her, "I will join." She let out a sigh softly.

Devil Fire

Devil frowned, finding something a little queer about the roan mare. She seemed to nervous, and far more edgy then normal. Devil heard the tremble in her voice, and sniffed the air, before finally catching the scent of what Sunset had smelt. At the scent, his ears lay flat upon his head, and he snorted, giving Sunset a nip. "Don't lie to me." He said, annoyed that the roan mare had tried to hide it. It was too bad, though. Devil couldn't see that traiterous mare. Lucky for her, he was bound by a herd, and thus couldn't just trail her like a scent hound. That chestnut really had to count her lucky stars. Devil snorted, looking at Sunset. "I'm not going after her. She's dead, in my eyes. Just don't lie to me ever again." Devil said with a glare, before he nudged her back towards the herd. He quickly trotted back himself, not wanting to lose control of himself and let his own anger take over. That would be bad.

As Devil came back, going up to Aspen as he heard her speak. Devil looked towards Aspen, at her words nuzzling her gently. "Alright." He said, before nosing her gently. (Fade?)
