Hatchet jumped at bit at the snap, her pace moving to almost a trot, but just a fast walk. She had her ears back slightly, as it were killing her to be moving faster.

Joe clicked again, just wanting a nice trot out of her.

Hatchet snorted, instead slowing to a medium speed walk. She could pick up her pace, but she was just a horse to take the least amount of work she could.

Joe clicked his tounge again and flicked the whip.

Hatchet gave a short buck, just picking up her walk almost trotting, but not feeling like it, needing extra enforcement.

Joe repeated the tounge clicking and the flick.

HAtchet snorted, as if to say, 'You're killing me here' and broke into a slow trot, barely.

Joe sighed "come on Hatchet- a bit on energy would be lovely." He said to her, giving the whip another flick.

Hatchet threw her head, seeing as she wasn't winning she kicked into a fast trot, letting her strides be short for the moment.

History:
Mother died in giving birth to Chance, the fact he survived earned him the name Take A Chance, as it is what Mr. Watson of Watson farms said when he was told it was no use, that both foal and mother would die. Watson however was old and his children were not fond of horses so he had no way of training the foal or the health nor energy to care for it. So Mr. Watson sent Chance to the horse market with a good friend knowing he would be sold to a good home.

Chance takes great pleasure in chewing on fences, tack, and definitely pony tails of riders. He loves to jump and leap after things and over things. He is afraid of water (ponds and lakes, not rain or puddles).
