"Sounds l-like a plan..." Lawliet murmured quietly in response, hiding his fear behind what was an attempt at a straight face. He trotted into position, his shimmery blue orbs laced with terror yet kept firmly ahead; what if he had been tricked? Surely not, these wolves seemed to be calm and genuinely friendly, and he put his fear down to mere paranoia, like most of his troubles were due to. Crouching shakily beneath some greenery, he kept as low as he could despite his size, and made sure to flatten his long auds against his broad cranium, a mistake he had told himself not to make twice, though he would surely forget soon enough.
Achilles
The brown wolf's tan sides rose and fell as he stalked into position around to the other side. He could sense that Lawliet was nervous, borderline terrified. But he trusted that the timid wolf would be able to carry out their plan. Before he could give the signal, he needed to pick out the one he would go for. He noticed an older doe with a limp, that was the weak link, the one that he would chase down. His lips drew back in a terrifying wolfy smile as he caught Lawliet's eye. With a nod, he signaled the large brute to flush the deer.
