Lottie knew her heat scent was fading. She sighed softly, knowing she would never have pups.

Bertie saw the camp and ran forward, looking round for Shasta. He whimpered softly when he didn't see her and became worried, he ran up to Ray. Fallon , is safe she's just coming I escorted her to the camp myself. Ummm is Shasta safe? he asked quietly

Looked at him seeing we were back at the camp, she laid down under a tree she didn't want to stand it was tiring, she closed her eyes not sleep. She hasn't yet mabe a burrow for her pups and the pack will move on soon to find a territory she didn't want to go anywhere at the moment.

Lottie shook her head, worried it was the keepers trying to take them back to the zoo. She peered round the mouth of the den, and whimpered quietly seeing a hunter walking up the stream. She was almost trembling with fear, the fea turned to Kade fear in her eyes. She hid behind him.

Kade turned to face her very silently. "Come." He mouthed, and made his way very silently to the very back if the den. Only then did he realized it turned around and led even deeper. "Over here..." He whispered very quietly. He went in first. It was just big enough for his large, muscular frame, there was no doubt she would fit. But as Kade kept walking, the narrow hall widend and led into a secret room. It was wide and large enough for a small band of wolves. And in the very back, he heard water trickling. They were safe as long as they stayed in here. Humans were too large to fit through the hole anyways, but it was very dark in there.

Cloverbud knew her heat was fading and she was very weak. She knew that if she wanted pups she would need to have them soon if she even hoped they would survive the winter. But even though she loved Sammy and was going to the other pack with him she was still not his mate and she was unsure if he loved her.
