Tokonu quietly crept closer to the rabbit. He stepped with his left paw, then his right, then his left, then CRACK! The rabbit darted off, but Tokonu suddenly didn't care. His left shoulder was aching in sudden pain, pain that shot through his whole body. "Run!" He managed to let out. He could smell blood oozing from the gunshot wound, and he tried hobbling to safety, across the pack's border. But any movement made spasms of pain.
