Mirage smiled weakly at Kale, and said after Kale had reassured her, "oh, I'm so sorry... I.. I don't think it was your pet.." she mumbled and felt even weaker. When Flower left, Mirage looked up at Kale. "Kale, I heard you and Flower talking when I was coming over.. and.." her voice trailed off, "If Flower really loves one of you, she will find a way to be friends with both of you no matter if she's Axel's mate, she will be your friend. If she's your mate, she will still be Axel's friend. A true friend wont end a friendship because of love. A blind friend would, a blind friend who was blinded by love." she said in a quiet voice, and she realized she looked down the whole time when she said this, so she looked at Kale now.

"No." Flax said after he was set down, looking at her as if she were crazy. "Are you okay?" he asked

Kale listened as Mirage spoke, nodding "Yeah, it's just Axel had a crush on her from the start so I don't think he'll just back off..." He mumbled, looking down and glancing to her. He cleared his throat and stood up taller, deciding to change the subject. "shall we go hunting?" he smiled

Mirage nodded, "Sure, Kale." she said respectfully and looked toward the forest. "Where do you want to go?" she asked, and looked back to Kale. Mirage's eyes looked dull, because she was deep in thought. Then they shone again and she looked North, South, East and West.

Kira sighed and flopped onto the ground. "A lot better now. I thought you just told me my best friend had gotten killed by humans and I needed to tell the Alpha. You almost gave me a heart attack." She said, trying to catch her breath.
