Wolf's breathing was barely steady and deep, he was a heavy sleeper and that was the reason he gained energy more fast than another. His brother was a light sleeper, as if he was meant to watch over others. Wolf, on the other hand, didn't really care. He had no pack to watch over, his ear twitched in his sleep as if he had perked them. He was thinking about it in his dreams, his rank was Beta. He had to watch over wolves know. He was expected to, maybe this wasn't the rank for him. He loved the fact it was high and felt he had power, the opposite of a weakness or reason to be picked on like a worthless Omega. But he wasn't meant to take care of others, a loner could never become as social as a wolf whom lived within a pack their entire life, even if they switched to a different one.
He would abandon his rank, but not just yet. He could just step down, but he'd rather have someone take his place and not leave the pack without someone to go to if Kale was much too busy, he wasn't heartless and wasn't cold enough to leave a gap in the pack. He'd wait 'til someone came and asked for it, he wouldn't be pushed down until someone confronted him, since he knew a lower rank might be intimidated. If someone would go up to him and challenge him to a fight without hesitation, Wolf would feel he or she was confident enough for the rank. But what did he know, really? He was a loner. That was him, still deep inside. Maybe he didn't belong to a pack. Of course the pack never owned him, he owns himself, but maybe he just wasn't right for one. After all, the only reason he joined was for his brother, and they had been apart for long, so it wouldn't be that hard. But Wolf was loyal with family. He'd never fully leave anyone that he cared about, he would disappear but come when the time was right. It was for the best.
But he couldn't leave, could he? What about Carine? How would she feel if he stayed for two nights before leaving right after. She had been friendly to him, he couldn't just leave her thinking he was abandoning her friendship. And Finch, he hadn't exactly spoke to the pup but had been introduced, though seemed to make the pup upset or something, feeling like his mother didn't care about him anymore, which obviously wasn't true.
Thoughts faded and images of gray turned black, falling deeper. He didn't dream, didn't think, just slept.

Kale

Kale crept forward, his scent hidden as he slowly made his way closer, making sure they didn't know they were there.

Alcko smiled. "I'm sure you're quite good. Though if you don't want to that's fine." He said, not wantign to make her feel forced or anything.

he awoke with his belly growling he stood up and stretched "food?" he thought he started to walk out of the den

she returned to the camp and went onto her and Alckos rock and laid down with a sigh

[Yup, it was an accident though. ^^ When I made the 'pretty post' thingies I just made one up for Wolf, and Wolf's single. Then I just changed the colours + info for each character, but forgot to change Alcko's so it said 'single' only on the page which had the codes, and as I posted I changed it to him having a mate, since he does. But for that post I went back to the page with the codes and used that, forgetting to change it. :3.

Kira looked up at him with big green eyes and shrugged. "I guess I could try it out... it can't be that different from fighting, right?" She said, a small smile flickered onto her muzzle.

((Short post... and late reply... I got a new puppy and I've been playing with her a lot. >.<))

Flax lifted his head, wondering why his brother had gotten up to leave. "Kato?" He called. "Where are you going?" He stood, before he followed after him.

Alcko smiled, "Well, let's go!" He said cheekily, and began to walk off, his snout in the air as he searched for scents.

Kira followed after him, her tail held a little higher than usual. It felt good to get out of camp for a little while and stretch her legs. Her nose twitched at every little sound, searching for prey.

Alcko glanced around, his ears swiveled around, one stayed perked forward while the other detected the sound of crunching branches. He paused in mid-step, a paw hovering in the air as he flicked his tail and his nose twitched, slowly he set his paw back down and turned his head, his eyes fixed on a collection of trees and bushes, a good distance away. His eyes flashed to Kira, he nudged his head and silently began to creep forward.
