Jazz wondered where the pack went and sniffed the air, she smelt bear and let out a quiet growl, she raced down to the river and spotted the bear, she snarled at it from behind Isla.

The bear roared back and hurdled across the river. Scar leapt at the bear and bit at it trying to detour it while the others escaped.

she sniffs the air when she was finished marking the territory, she could smell a bear close by! she barks "Click, I can smell a bear!!"! with that she turns and runs back to the den, ready to protect the puppies.

Click stopped and sniffed the air. 'It's a long way off.' He said, catching only the faintest scent. 'Even so, it's better safe than sorry.' He started back to the den.
Isla raced down the slope beside Scar, growling and snapping at the bear to keep it from focussing completely on Scar. In a one-on-one against a bear, the wolf always loses, and she wouldn't let that happen.
Tyr jumped back with a surprised bark as the bear crossed the water, turning and racing after Coco.
Bran stepped back in the water, his ears flattened against his head as the bear barrelled towards the pack. He looked to either side of him, but he'd gotten in an area with steep banks on either side of the water, and the bear was blocking the route downstream.
Nyx had dashed away as soon as the bear had shown itself, and waited at the top of the bank, watching her brother worridly.

Scar lept at the bear and bit into it's shoulder, he tore at it trying to make it loose focus from the pups.

Coco growled at the bear.

[Tyger Tyger]

'Get out of here!' Isla shouted at th e pups, not taking her eyes off the bear.
'Come on Coco, we've got to go.' Tyr said urgently. 'It will be easier for mum and dad to fight this bear if they don't have to worried about us getting julienned.'

Coco ran back to the den.

The bear swiped at Scar and he fell to the ground with a yelp.

Tyr followed close behind his sister. He sat outside the cave, waiting for the rest of the pack to come back.
Isla snarled, running back and forth in front of the bear to distract it.
Bran ran forward, trying to make a dash for it, but as he ran past the bear it turned towards him. He yelped and backed off quickly, but his paw slipped on a slippery rock and his legs went out from under him. The water covered him and washed him down river.
Nyx ran along the bank parallel to her brother, trying to see him beneath all the water.
Isla snapped at the bears legs, turning its attention back to her and Scar and away from the pups.

Scar spotted Bran and lept over to him attempting to grab him.

Coco sat worriedly letting out a whimper.

'They'll be ok.' Tyr said. 'They'll be back soon.'
Beans head broke the surface and he pulled in deep lungfulls of air. He saw his father coming towards him and tried to reach him, but the current was too strong.
'Bran! The rock!' Nyx shouted, seeing her brother struggle.
Bran turned, seeing the large rock jutting out f the water. If he could reach that he could probably use it to pull himself out. He swum away from Scar, lining himself up with the rock.
The bear turned as Isla grabbed its leg, swiping at her. Isla yelped as the paw connected with her, knocking her off her feet and tearing through her shoulder. She quickly scrambled back up, but couldn't put her weight on her leg properly. She snarled at the bear, but knew she couldn't keep it at bay on her own.
