Isla didn't let her eyes meet Rexes as she went to fetch Coco from the den.

Fisher scooped up Coco and ran back to the den, she put her down on the den floor and told Scar what happened.

Scar was crushed, Isla wanted to be with that male wolf instead of him, they could have easily got up to the dens with Fisher pinning down Rex and there they would be safe. Scar closed his eyes then walked out of the den and towards the south pack territory.

Coco followed,"daddy we need to save mummy" she said wondering why he wasn't going to get her.

Scar whipped around to face Coco,"Scram you stupid, useless puppy" he snarled before bolting away.

Coco ran to fisher eyes filled with tears.

Tyr saw Coco and ran towards her, wagging his tail in a happy greeting. He stooped as he saw her tears. 'Coco? What's wrong?'

"Daddy yelled at me" she cried.

Scar arrived at the place he met Isla, he dug up the snow then tore at the patch of ground he sat there and let out a lonely howl saying how much he hated Isla for using him, he got half way through the howl when he broke down in tears, she said she loved him and then this, he lay down and continued to weep.

Tyr rested his head against her shoulder, trying to comfort her. Bran walked over slowly and licked the tears off her face. 'It will all be ok.' He said.

Isla heard Scars howl and felt her heart breaking. She cursed herself for not taking the earlier opportunity to rejoin her true mate.

"No, he doesn't like mummy any more" she cried.

Scar got up and went to get a drink, all the crying was thirst work.

Rex heard the howl,"see Isla he is saying he hates you" he said

Bran sat down, shattered by the news. He fought to keep tears out of his own eyes. Tyr wasn't sure how to respond to that. He licked Coco's head, keeping it together for his siblings. One of then had to stay tough.

'Shut up!' Isla snapped suddenly.

"He hates you and you yell shut up at me? If you really care that much about him then go get him, I will never bother you again, go get him and prove to me he still loves you" said Rex rather anoyed at her outburst.
