Lykaios smiled softly, "I- I like you too." He mumbles, voice soft and awkward. It was strange to say 'I love you,' and he hoped she'd understand. He closes his eyes and breathes in the cool air, the coldness of it felt in his lungs and blooming like a frost flower. He shivered slightly as he opens his eyes back up to glance at Fell in front of him, her black coat collecting snow on it as it sprinkled softly. The white stood out against her dark pelt and she looked as though she had the stars in her fur. "Then... Have you ever considered about- About raising a family?" His voice faltered and he looked down at his paws, feeling madly hot even in this cold wind from his embarrassment.
Lujayn tenses up her muscles, visible underneath her fur coat, moves slowly and quietly, the snow muffling her soft movements. She curses inwardly for how slow she had to move, but it was the only way she'd ever catch the squirrel, cleaning its face with its hands and flicking its bushy tail. It took few moments and when she could tell she was close enough, (she always did have this sense of judging distance with her eyes) she bunched up her muscles in her hind legs and recoiled back quickly and pushing off the ground. The squirrel spots her, rising from the snow like an ice wraith, jaws open and revealing sharp, ivory fangs. Only that it realized too late and moved too slow, her jaws closing in on the squirrel's torso and heard a snap, like a shark would leap and sink its fangs into an unsuspecting seal. She falls down onto the ground on her back, only to quickly get back up on her paws. Eating here in the forest would bring other starving predators as her, even in the territory she called home. She tried as quickly as she could to return back, though not running from the tiredness that plagued her muscles. The taste of blood on her tongue made her shiver with hunger. She had not tasted the fresh blood of prey since weeks ago. It should be but a brief relief for her stomach, though it would be enough for now.
'then, show me your true heart. the next action you take will be proof of your true feelings towards me.'
