1. Site Rules: All site rules, forum rules and role-play rules apply here
2. In Character Rules: Like in all role-plays in this type of forum, there are a set of rules that need to be followed. First of all, no power player as it is unfair to others and it is basically just you role-playing with yourself in that case. Also no god modding either, no perfect characters etc. As in all animal rp's, I allow the animals to talk as it is easier but please try to know at least most of your wolf behaviors such as their body language and how they interact with other wolves. No kissing or hugging as wolves in reality do not do that but instead they nuzzle or lick which is similar to kissing and hugging. Please try to use the correct wolf behavior language.
3. Out Of Character Rules: When speaking out of character or OOC, then please, please use {}, [], () or OOC: as it makes it a whole load easier to understand when you as a person are speaking or whether it's you role-playing your character.
4. Language & Sentences: In the case or grammar, I'd like proper grammar to be used in proper sentences. It makes it easier for others to understand you and it looks better. Spelling mistakes are understandable especially if you're on your iPod, iPhone, tablet etc. but if possible try to make it as accurate as possible or so that others understand what you mean. As for sentences, I'd like them to be full and fairly descriptive ones. No 'He Smiled. He sat down. He yawned' but instead something like 'He smiled, sitting down with a yawn.'
5. Absences: If you are not going to be on for a while then please PM me and make sure that your character walks off or goes to sleep or something. And if you have been off for a while and need a recap then PM me and I will try to give you one. If not then ask someone else who is in the role-play. If anyone asks for a recap then please do tell them even if all you know is about your own characters it's still a recap.
6. Number Of Characters: There is no limit to the amount of characters that you can have BUT please do try and keep genders even. I don't want 12 females and only 5 males as it's unfair. Have as many characters as you wish as long as you can handle them.
7. Writing Style: I'm not really fussed about whether you write in 1st or 3rd person but other may prefer 3rd person so just keep that in mind.
8. Romance: I don't mind if your character starts of with a crush but I don;t want them to walk up to them and instantly fall in love. Love and Romance takes time. In the crush section of the form, you can put 'will develop a crush on...' and then the name of the dog as that is fine. This is the same for mates. I don't want dogs becoming mates in the first 20 or so pages no do I want a character go up to a random character and ask if they have a mate as that's not how it works. Please leave it at least 10 or so pages before any real crushes or mates form. One more thing. NO CRUSHING ON OWN CHARACTERS!
9. Pups: I will have a limit of four pups each mate. It is up to the owners of those two dogs to decide who will play what pups and what genders they are. If dogs become mates then I don't want them to instantly mate and have pups since this role-play is mostly about them surviving.
10. Names & Ranks: Please take a careful look at the names of current characters before naming your own. I don't want any arguments between members about names. This is the same for ranks. If they want a rank that is already taken then you can put that rank in 'rank want' and put another in their actual rank. Also take a very close look at the ranks available and some may have to be chosen by the alpha such as lead hunter or fighter etc.
