Shy kicked at the trailer scared more than ever as she watched the world whirl by she whinnied calling back to her daughter feeling unprotected and unsafe. She felt the trailer stop she stood her ground when her halter was pulled she was forced off and she struggled terrified her heart racing unhealthily with her issue she kicked at the metal pole roughly several times leaving a dent she raced around trying to break free

Suiki skittered closer to the rock wall. She could've sworn she heard something, but then again, it could have been her overly-worried mind playing tricks on her again. Snorting at how spooked she could get over her silly anxiety's superstitions, she looked up to see Memphis thundering across the open grounds and whinnied to her.

Memphis was always full of energy, and being a former race horse, she preferred running over walking anytime. She was on her way to the river when she heard a familiar neigh-Suki. Memphis had always preferred to go solo in life, since she wasn't very great at communicating with other horses, but she thought company would probably be better than nothing, so she slowed to a trot, turning in a circle before dipping her head to Suki to invite her along.

Zach woke to quiet. He smiled as he glanced at Katy sleeping. He was glad Xander was still sleeping too. He sleeked back the covers and slid out of bed. Kissing Katy's forehead gently, he headed downstairs. It was only around 6:30 in the morning, but he figured he'd get an early start. He had promised his stallion that they could go to see Shy today. He didn't want to wake Katy, unsure as to what her reaction would be. But honestly, he didn't trust this stranger with the wild mare. Sure, she was Katy's aunt, but he still didn't trust her. The only person he trusted completely anymore was Katy. Zach jotted down a quick note telling where he was and how long he would be gone. He figured it would only be a few hours before they would return. He opened the door quietly and slipped out to the barn.

Zach greeted the horses and patted Decoy's shoulder. "Ready, boy? Is Lakota coming along as well?" He asked his horse, glancing and the yearling filly. The boy brushed out his stallion and led him out of the barn before mounting up. He settled into a comfortable position and waited to see if the yearling was coming along.

Decoy snorted and lifted his head to see Zach coming into the barn. The stallion gently nuzzled his daughter and nickered. "You ready to go see your dam, Lakota?" He asked softly. The stallion missed his pretty black and white spotted mare and hoped she was alright. He slowly followed Zach out of the barn and stood patiently as his human mounted up. "Come on, Lakota. We're going to see your dam, love," Decoy nickered to his daughter.

Zorro cracked an eye open at the noise but wasn't fully awake. He shifted his gaze to Maria and the fillies before letting his eyes close once again.

Shiloh stood fast asleep with Sorrow in the barn, but the sound of the others made her open her eyes. The young mare lifted her head slowly and spotted Zach, but no Katy. Sighing, she went back to resting, hind hoof just above the ground. Her ears twitched ever so slightly as she listened for her girl. She had forgiven the girl for the most part, but was still a bit cautious about what she had said.

Lakota got up excited racing after her father. "I've missed mom so much! Do you think she's better?" She nickered nervously

Shy was tied to the pole still weakly pulling at it she was losing her fight she had been stuck here for two days no one has come to see her.. no food of water like she was used to... She heard something about breaking her in. She was terrified but she laid down exhausted
