Zach ignored swatted at Riva, for she had almost got his child instead of him. "Riva! No," he told her sternly. He stroked Shy gently and then closed the trailer door. "You'll be alright, Shy. I promise. Decoy and I will see you when you're better. We'll even bring Lakota along to see you. Be good, okay?" He gave her a sugar cube and then went to talk to Katy's dad. He sighed and shifted Xander a bit in is arms. "What vet are you taking her to?" He asked, needing to be able to find the place later on.

Shiloh heard Katy close by and slowly approached. She stopped a few yards away, not sure if she should be angry with the girl. She could see Katy had been crying and that softened her heart a little. But, she was still upset with the human.

Decoy snorted softly and nuzzled Shy a last time before going over to his son. He stood watching the fillies and then nickered softly to his son, wondering what the young colt wanted.

Zorro snorted and warned his daughters to be careful. He glanced away and spotted Maria. Trotting over, he nuzzled her. "What's wrong?" He asked softly.

Shy sighs "Riva I'm not taking it out anyone though." She rolled her eyes, Shy nuzzled Zach sadly didn't like this at all

Articmoon saw the river got smaller but deeper she decided not to cross she kept walking

Flame flicked an ear and looked to Decoy frowning slightly before stepping away from his older cousins turning to face the stallion "Mum said I was being a pain in the *ss" he muttered gently "And she said that.. it was wrong for me to have snapped at you..." it was true, he was young and this made no sense to him, what had he done, oh well "And i'm sorry" He murmured softly huffing gently.

Katy looked back at shiloh and sighed "Hey honey..." she murmured softly "i'm really sorry, I didn't mean what i said..." She murmured but didn't move to pat the mare.

Maria shrugged "Just Shiloh.. Don't see why i should be upset" she mumbled softly lipping him gently taking her mind of the filly.

katy's dad turned to Zach "my sister, and don't worry, everything katy knows, she learnt from Sarah." he murmured "She's about an hour out of town and will be keeping the mare on her place, she's got an acer and a wonderful stable so shy will be getting good feed, shelter and wonderful treatment., don't you worry about it" he smiled.

Zach sighed. "Just make sure to remember she is a wild mare and she should be treated as such. No saddles or blankets or ropes. Use the halter she has on now and just leave it on, please. If she needs a blanket, it should be okay, but she is wild. Also, I won't stop Decoy if he comes after her. She's his mare and he will not stand to be separated from her for long periods of time. And I would prefer her to be not locked up. She won't leave and also, do not kill the foal if you don't have to. Oh, and please, please do not hurt her. She can get spooked easily because she'll be on her own and I don't want anything to happen to her. I know for a fact that Decoy will never be the same if he never gets her back," Zach sighed. "I know you think I'm just being controlling, but I'm serious. I don't want anything to happen to her.

Shiloh snorted, flicking her ears back slightly before slowly making her way forward. She stopped a foot away and dropped to her knees, glancing at Katy expectantly. She reached her neck out and nipped the girl's pant leg, urging the girl to get up.

Decoy snorted and nudged his son gently. "Your mother is quite right, little one. Your need to practice your manners. Otherwise no one will want to be around you. Just because your young doesn't mean you get to do as you please," he explained gently. "I know you might not understand now, but you will someday," he said softly.

Zach shifted Xander once more and sighed. "I don't want her around too many people. The least human contact possible would be preferred. I want her to remain a wild mare," he explained thoroughly. He truly did not want the mare to become dependent on humans. He wanted her to stay as wild as possible.

Zorro sighed. "What about her, Maria?" He asked softly. The stallion nudged her softly and nibbled her mane.

Katy's father looked up and smirked "Don't worry kiddo, She breaks in mustangs, Shiloh will be a picnic" he smiled and then stepped into the car driving off down the bushy valley area. reaching the road she drove out down towards his sisters place. once there he simply stopped and let his sister deal with the mare.

Amy walked outside and unlocked the float ramp putting it on the ground smiling holding an apple when she walked in holding it out to shiloh she gently untied the rope and then grabbed another longer one and tied it to a metal pole so if the mare rushed out she's pull and pull until she just gave in. Ther e was no way she was getting away from that knot. Alot of horses did this, and it just made the horses know they can't actually get away and that there was nothing they could do. she held the short rope but if themare took off out,she'd let go and not do anything.

Maria shrugged "She's just... I never should have raised her, should have brought her here and given her to decoy.. he would have raised her better... He always does, he's always been the better one, always" she pinned her ears and stepped away and turned away from her stallion ears lightly pinned, he was the better one, he did everything right, he wasn't aggressive like she was, he wasn't.. like her, he was good.. she sighed softly.

"So why did mum have a go at you... She doesn't seem to be very happy with you at the moment either?" he snorted softly frowning, he saw no reason right now to be kind to his father if his mother was upset with him or whatever.

Decoy snorted and sighed. "We are just having a disagreement. It happens. Don't worry about it," he lifts his head and whinnies as loud as he can, wishing he could go after Shy. "I just hope Shy will be alright. I don't trust any human I don't know," he looked down at his son and nudged him. "Go ahead and go play with the fillies of you want. I think Miricle is waiting for you," he nodded toward the young filly who stood watching them.

Miricle half reared and whinnied, calling to Flame. "Come on! Come play!" she whinnied excitedly.

Zach sighed and then almost got angry when Katy's dad said something about breaking her in. He would check on shy in two days time to make sure she was still a wild mare. Sighing, he took his son back inside the house and lay him in the crib. He then went back out and walked up to Decoy. "Hey boy. I promise we'll go see her in two days time, okay? You better check on Lakota. I don't know how she'll be without her momma," he patted the stallion's shoulder and gently rubbed the little colt's neck before going into the barn to clean out a few stalls.

Zorro nuzzled her softly. "You raised her fine. Don't worry. Just concentrate and raising the two fillies you brought into the world. Shiloh is almost all grown up now. We should concentrate on the youngsters, now. She'll be alright," he nickered softly and smiled as he watched the fillies.

Katy looked at shiloh and smiled as the mare nipped her jeans, "I don't" she murmured watching her softly, she did stand by the mare, stroking her gently grabbing the reins to the horse she had been riding holding the gelding carefully, still stroking shiloh, "Sweety, i don't want to hurt you, your still young" sure, 3 or 4 however old she was was good to be ridden, but katy didn't need to fall off and break something. Smiling she stroked the mare softly.

Flame turned to his cousins ears lightly pinned, turning away from his father and then charged the fillies sliding to a stop when fantasy bolted infront of him causing him to trip fall and roll into miricle's legs.

Maria snorted softly watching zorro smiling softly at him lipping him lovingly.

Shiloh snorted and nudged Katy again. She nickered softly to the other horse, hoping he could help convince Katy to get on her back. The young mare stayed on her knees, still waiting.

Miricle leaped up as the colt hit her legs and toppled to the ground with him. She nickered happily and nudged him gently as she got to her feet. "Fantasy! Be careful!" She whinnied to her sister. Then she pranced around a bit, waiting to see if the colt would still play with her.

Decoy snorted softly and headed into the barn where his daughter was. "Hey baby girl. Don't worry, momma will be back. Why don't you play with the others for a bit , Lakota? I promise she'll come back to us," he nuzzled the pretty yearling and nudged her gently toward the others.
