She can have mood swings like any other mare, but overall she has a good personality.

Okay! lets start!

I lifted my head to the soft breeze on the air. Zach's scent still hung heavily in the air. I stood on the ridge that I had fallen from when my human filly, Loreann, had been killed. I turned to my lead mare and nuzzled her. The colt at her side was not mine, but until he was of age, I would allow him to stay in the shelter of the mountain valley my human had called Rock Falls. Zach had been to Loreann's grave early in the morning, before he had went down to the lake in the center of our rocky home. He often visited his human home and brought hay and grain for my band and I. He also stayed by night near my dear human filly's grave. Her grave was in the most sheltered part of the 'Rock Falls', where a few tall pines still stood tall and saved us from the cold winds that blew up here in the mountains. As we went lower in elevation, the trees grew more lushly in thickets of pine and spruce. The small river that flowed down from the lake in our home valley was always clear and had sweet tasting water.
Right now, I looked out into the rocky valley of our home and thought about the strange human-made home I had seen by the river last night when I was walking around my 'territory'. I wondered if Zach knew about it. He often stayed in the mountain with us, only going home to get more food for both himself and us, since there was little food to be found in these rocky outcroppings and cliffs. I recalled the memory of the strange human home by the river. I hoped the human would do us no harm.

I slipped silently into the barn, loading the two hay bags full of timothy, alfalfa, and meadow hay, Decoy's favorite. I made sure Father was nowhere to be seen before sprinting out towards the mountains. I made it to the small woods that surrounded the house and a little further before stopping and hiding the hay in a bush. I ran back to the barn and opened the grain room door softly. It squeaked and I froze, waiting for someone to come. But no one did, and I quickly went inside and filled the three buckets with sweet feed, molasses feed, and oats. I snapped the lids on each before heading back to the hay that lay hidden in a small clump of brush. I heaved the hay bags up over my shoulder and slipped the closed buckets into the hay bags so I could carry all of it. I looked around and started up the mountain towards Decoy's band's home.

I lifted my head, scenting strange horses in the area. I shook out my mane and swished my creamy tail as I walked slowly closer to the lingering scent of horses. I stopped and regarded the river in front of me. I dipped my muzzle to find the water sweet tasting and clear. I whinnied happily, this being the first clean water I had found in weeks. I stepped into the water and sighed. The water was cool and refreshing on my sore muscles. I found a shallow spot and dropped fully into the water, rolling joyously with my legs reaching for the sky, my back soaked in the cool river.

I Snorted as I watched the stallion at a rock's cliff with his lead mare. She smiled feeling sorry, she had seen him and his human filly before. only once though, but also heard of her death. She stayed hidden even though it was not very simple. She sighed before turning her head away she began to graze. her sent was still strong. She felt her human filly come by and she softly whinnied happily.



I stroked my wild mare's neck with a smile. I looked to the Phantom stallion that I had read about in her books, he was rather famous and was written about in all different way's how he only trusted the one girl, how he was saved from a young girl, how he met a young girl in the woods one night. there where about 20 others. I smiled again then sighed pushing my hair to one side. When I spotted the boy who had often come I stood on my toes trying to see him clearly. when I did my heart stopped. It beated again when I crouched down and then I smiled and bit my lip. My mare nudged me then looked out towards the herd. I stood back up and jumped onto the back of my wild mare of who only trusted me. I then accidentally moved my body forgetting how sensitve she was and she bolted. I screamed and tumbled onto the ground. I could not hear my mare come back but i heard her stop.

My eyes snapped to the spot the noise came from. I saw a young girl about Zach's age. It looked as if she had fallen from a short cliff. I let my eyes wander, spotting a mare. Behind me, I heard zach come up and drop the hay bags and grain. I swished my tail, motioning him nearer. Over the years, he ahd learned my signals to him almost as well as Loreann had.
"Hey, boy. What is it?" his voice sounded from my right side. When he reach my head, he stopped and followed my gaze to the filly human. I watched him carefully, knowing several things about humans that normal wild horses did not. I flicked my gaze to my lead mare and her colt. What did she think?


I heard a scream and a loud crash and dropped the hay bags. I went up on Decoy's right side and stopped when I saw the girl about my age on the ground. She was down lower, so I was looking down at her, but she must have been watching me when I climbed up here to bring the feed to Decoy and his mare. I watched the girl, waiting to see what would happen. Was her fate the same as Loreann's?

I turned back to my human filly and galloped to her. And noticing that the boy and stallion had seen her fall. I pinned my ears and reared up from out of the bush near where my human lay. When i landed I nosed her.



I did a light laugh when my wild mare touched me and put my hand on her cheek. When i remembered the boy and stallion I bounced up and shudded away hiding. I had not talked to another human being since i was 13. I hid in the bushes but my mare just looked at me and then back up the 2 meter high cliff where the boy and stallion stood.



I turned to the stallion up on the cliff and snorted stomping my hooves. "Exuse her, she has not talked to another human since hse was 13." I spoke and made my way back up the cliff and stood just to the side of the stallion and the boy. My words where just snorts and all to the boy. "She is probaly the same age as him" I smiled looking to this stallion's human colt.



(Is Decoy's lead mare, More than Rosie Red?) I snorted at my mother and stood beside her now and then nursing. My brother a year older than me so he probaly was not drinking anymore. I snorted and then squeezed my way under my mother, i would be 16 hands when i was older, that's how high my mum reckons i will be atleast. between that and 15 hands. I snorted and put my body under her neck.
