A dog's life is the best life you could ask for, whether you are a pet or stray, your life usually rocks either way. The place you live in is even better, because you live in Rocky Falls, a friendly little place in the middle of practically no where, it is surrounded by mountains, woods, wildlife, and near the entrence to this wonderful place the is a large and magnificent waterfall. There is a massive dog park in the middle of the small town where all the shops, stores, apartments and buisnesses are. Beyond that there are four different suberban neighborhoods, and on the outer edge of this place there are over 100 acres of rolling fields and farm houses.
Dogs that are pets, you have the perfect life, your owners let you roam in your neighborhoods to play with other dogs, they take you on walks, and they always bring you to your favorite place, the dog park! You also have tons of life styles to choose from whether your a musical freestyle apartment dog, or Flyball suberban dog, or maybe a herding country dog, or maybe your just your owner's favorite companion. It's all you and what you do and who you hang with, makes you, YOU.
Strays, life is a little harder for you, you have the constant threat of the dog catcher, cars, and wild animals that could carry rabies. You don't have a life style to choose from, your just a stray. But you make the best of it, right? Find love and romance on the streets or maybe with a... pet? Hang with your wild friends and cause havoc? Sometimes its the best... and other times its the worst, but who knows? Maybe your a lucky stray who will find a loving owner?

~||Life Styles||~

||Agility||

Agility is a dog sport where the dog is directed by it's owners through a series of obsticles and the dog with the fastests time wins the competition. These dogs find jumping and climbing fun and do this whole competion for fun and exercise. These dogs are usually very fast and agile, but doesn't always mean they have to be small, the biggest of dogs can still do this. In Rocky Falls Agility competions, any breed of dog can participate, purebred or mutt. The course is found on the west end of the huge dog park of Rocky Falls.

||Earthdog Trials||

Earthdogs are small breeds that are trained to run in earthdog trials, these trials consist of a small dog crawling into a long, small, underground tunnel that ha s ascent trail of a rat laid out. The dog follows the scent to the end of the tunnel were a real rat is kept in a cage and the dog is to bark until the animal is lifted out followed closely by the small dog, whatever dog makes it to the small animal the fastest is the winner if your in a compitionion. This style is only for small, terrier type breeds, they are the main ratters and small enough to fit in the tunnels. Terrier mixes are aloud as well, but they must be small. The Earthdog trials course is held in the southern edge of the woods, beyond the farms and millions of acres for farmers.

||Field Trial||

Field trial is a very old form of dog showing and fun, these dogs are trained to fetch and point out prey for hunters. These dogs are mainly found out in the country area and hunting parts of the woods, and they hunt small prey like birds, small mammals like rabbits, foxes and big prey such as deer and bears. In a competition for field competator dogs, they don't use real animals, instead the cover a decoy in scent and drag it around the field, ultimatly hidding it somewhere in the end. Dogs in this life style is resticted to hound type dogs, these are dogs that you can train to these kinds of things, but like always, mixed hounds are aloud.

||FlyBall||

Flyball is a sport that uses four dogs to a team, one dog is released and must jump four hurdles, grab the tennis ball from the machine, then turn and return the ball across the hurdles to it's owner, then the next dog on the team is released. The first team to have had all there dogs run the course without dropping the ball, wins. This course is inside the same building they hold dog shows in. It is in a smaller room on the west side of the building, and the building is found in the city area of Rocky Falls. There is no restrictions on the dog's breed, let it be any breed, pedigree or mutt.

||Frisbee||

Frisbee is a game any dog plays at the park, but a dog that makes a life style from it is a highflying, competative, kind of player. There are some frisbee competitions that are held in the middle of the park, and the dog has to catch as many frisbees as it can in different styles, differing hieghts, and sometimes from their owner's backs. This is a brand new style of living and is for any dog breeds, purebreds and mutts. Fly high!

||Herding||

Herding is not just a life style, or a sport, it often just describes the dog and owner's life. A herding dog lives in the counrty side of Rocky Falls, and most farmers on this side own herding dogs, and some even compete them in herding compitions were the dog must move three to six sheep through a course. These compititions are usually held at chosen farms. But most of these herding dogs just live with and help their owners protect and care for the sheep and other livestock. This life style is restricted to certain, herding dog breeds, and mixes of herding dog breeds.

||Hunting||

Rocky Falls has a different way of dog hunting, instead of just letting the dog flush out animals, the dog is allowed to actually attempt at hunting the animal without guns. Some dogs still flush out the animal and allow there owner to shoot it, but most enjoy a good kill. This life style is more like a sport for good and free eats for the dog's family, it takes place in the restricted hunting areas in the huge acres of woods east of the farms, neighborhoods, and houses. This sport is for any breed owned and trained in it.
Forest

||Musical Freestyle||

Musical freestyle dogs are more talented that sporty, and they do a variety of freestyled moves with their owners. It is to music and involves the owner dancing, and the dog matching movements to the owner's dancing. There are competitions held for this sport in a small fenced field behind the dog show building. The dogs are judged by the difficulty of the moves they do. This sport id for any breed, purbred or mutt.

||Obedience||

Obedience is mainly a competition styled life were you see how obedient your dog is. Dogs must hold what the dog is holding above and listen to their owners as they make commands like sit, lay down, roll over and they can command them through an obsticle course afterwards. These courses and competitions are held in the obedience grounds on the opposite side of the agility course in the park. This competition is for all dog breeds, purbreds and mutts.

||Pulling||

Pulling is a very competative sport for dogs, strong dogs must pull wieghts like bricks and rocks on a rolling platform on flat land. The dog must pull this weight, folling his owner down the path and whatever dog pulls it's weight to it's human first wins. This life style is only for large and strong dog breeds, and mixes of them. These cometitions are held in the east side of the show dog building's parking lot.

||Racing||

Racing is a big place for gambling in Rocky Falls, dogs that are in racing do a couple laps, depending on the dog's ranks, and try and race wach other, the first to cross the finish line after the amount of laps they had to do is the winner. There is a breed restriction, these must be racing dogs like greyhounds, salukis, and borzois, and even some mixes of those dogs. These dogs are very competative and love a good race. The race track is found in the middle of the counrty area, in the middle of a wide open field.

||Police Buissness||

These dogs are the toughest of the tough, trained to protect Rocky Falls from the criminals in it. In this life style there are many different ranks- which will be listed if you go on. These dogs are trained to sniff out, chase, attack, and take down run away criminals. This is the most dangerous life style for a dog, and you never know if a criminal has a gun. This work isn't really restricted as much, just as long as you have a strong dog, most large dog breeds are allowed.

||Show||

These dogs are thought to be the best of the best to their breed clubs, they show off in shows and try to compete with other dogs for their title of "Champion" in the Rocky Falls Dog Shows. There can be any breed of dog here, but their papers must say they are purbred dogs. No mutts aloud. This comatition obviously takes place in the Dog Show building in the city of Rocky Falls.

||Sledding||

Sledding is a sport often done for fun up in the mountains of Rocky Falls, it only takes place during the winter and can either be for fun or you can join the races. This sport is often for sledding bred dogs and mixes of sledding breed dogs. Races are very big and can be dangerous since they take place in the mountains, but most dogs trained in here are smart.

||Tracking and sniffing||

Dogs have very keen noses, and in Rocky Falls, we put those great noses to good use. After storms, track and sniff dogs search houses for injured people and are also used if someone goes missing in the woods. These dogs are similar in the work of police buissness. This job is for any dog breed, purebred or mutt and is quiet simple if the dog is trained right.

||Companions||

Companions are just dogs who chose to live a life style dedicated completely with no sports, to their owner. They spend days hanging with other dogs and their owners at the park, or at ther house. This lifestyle is suitable for every dog, and takes place all over Rocky Falls.

||Strays||

Stray dogs have no owners, they were dumpedby their owners and left on the streets to take care of themselves. Most pet dogs see them as threats and don't like strays, and try to avoid them as much as possible. Strays live were ever they want and take what they want, they are Rocky Fall's little rebels.
