Staying Alive |Wild Horse RP| - Open

Far away from any human settlements there is a large open meadow with a small lake in the middle. The meadow has lush grass and is ringed by forests. The horses have only a few natural enemies, including a small band of wolves. The horses live in peace, breeding, creating small herds, and being happy.

.:Rules:.

- Respect Tess' rules.
- This is a realistic role play, let's keep it that way.
- Listen to me and all my mini-mods.
- A herd consists of one stallion and two mares.
- All horses start as a loner.
- Create as many characters as you can handle, but herds must contain at least one of another player's horses.
- Male foals are driven from herds at 2 years old.
- At 2, fillies can choose to leave or stay in the herd.
- Mares can be snaked, chased, and sweet-talked into joining herds.
- Birthing and mating fade to black, fade to white, silver, gold, whatever. Or just skip that.
- No out of context fighting.
- OOC is represented by [ ], { }, and (( )).
- Put Staying Alive somewhere in the form to prove that you have read the rules.
- Have fun!

*I will probably be adding more rules.*

.:Seasons:.

Spring:
The grass pokes up from what little snow the meadow receives. The footing is somewhat muddy and slippery, making galloping and cantering harder. Stallions start to protect their herds more, as females are going into heat.

Summer:
The past year's foals are being weaned and females are mating again. The stallions are striving to keep their herds together. Females are changing herds.

Fall:
Males are starting to worry less about females. Autumn in the meadow is very mild, and the trees in the forests are loosing leaves. Females have settled in for the year and are going out of heat.

Winter:
A thin layer of snow covers the grass. Horses have to kick at the ground to be able to get to the grass. Footing is iffy. Foals grow up and start leaving herds.
