With the rabbit long gone by now, Jacqueline found herself starving. Of course, she always exaggerated about food, so it was questionable whether this was real or not. A simple rabbit could be caught, so what would she eat? Maybe Jacqueline could ask the wolves near by, unless they were as stubborn ad herself. She didn't know, so she decided to search out for berries that weren't- poisonous.

Proton awaited Bonnie herding the elk, when he saw her he ran out with force choosing an elk carefully, Proton pounced onto it's hide and clambered along it's body, trying to keep hold, luckily he was strong enough to keep hold, he jumped to it's neck and took a deep bite, the elk collapsed to the floor helplessly before he took the final killing bite, dinner was served.

Bonnie ran out separating three from the herd, she kept them in a circle till Proton came, she watched him bring the elk and licked her lips as she saw the blood running from it's wounds, she howled alerting the pack that food was ready for the taking and she took a big chunk for herself, enjoying every bite.

Fate

Fate paused a slow moment, staring at the nearby brush. He could smell it and he knew it could smell him. But he was persistent, ready for all of this to end. Stepping closer and closer to the brush, Fate crouched low. He had this creature right in his sights. Right before he moved in and pounced.

Kiara

Kiara paused a moment, hearing the small, yet distinguished howl of her packmate. Food? Smiling lightly to herself, Kiara pranced in another direction, sprinting forward straight for the sound of the howl and a possible meal.

Proton lay down a few metres away from the elk, he licked the blood off of his paws and his wounds where a different elk had kicked his side. He watched some of the pack eat, he smiled knowing that though he had been through some pain, his pack could eat again.

Bonnie looked at the chunk she had retrieved from the elk and began eating it, she let the blood sooth her taste buds and took every bite with gratitude, although she hated her brother, she was thankful for this meal.

After woofing down what she hoped were just harmless blueberries, Jacqueline felt her stomach' s constant grumbling calming down and she was no longer hungry anymore. She smiled and padded along the edge of a river near by, the water' s surface portraying the reflection of everything around her and seeming calmer than the rapids she' d normally see in her old pack' s territory. The leaning trunks around her rippled on the water' s glassy surface and Jacqueline stepped forth to look at her own reflection. She saw a wolf with fur as dark as freshly dug up soil, and golden eyes that seemed to linger. The wolf in the reflection cast a confused face. She picked up her right paw, as did the wolf in the reflection, and let it break the surface of the river. The freezing river sent a chill to her bones and Jacqueline quickly jerked back her paw. Her dark brown fur looked to be the darkest black she' d ever seen on her right paw and it went all the way up to her elbow. She turned to look back at the wolf in the reflection but it was already beginning to ripple away, fading into a glassy river again. She sighed and bent forward to lap up some of the water, though it practically froze her tongue into a block of ice.

Proton arose from the spot with a small shiver, he watched as the rest of the herd fled in the distance, he knew that this was going to get harder as the winter days drew near. Proton stalked into the forest, he didn't feel as if he should be around everyone whilst they ate when he did nothing but merely watched them. Proton thought for a second, the air tasted cold and he felt the winter spirits nipping needlessly at his back, he looked at the sky not noticing where he was going, before he knew it Proton walked straight into a tree and fell to the floor in dizziness
