"My pack shall never fall in pride. Even when we have fallen in numbers."
- name;; "I am Salith."
Salith's name seems to have no special meaning, rather something her parents thought up. Some Elders told her that it comes from an ancient tale about a brave wolf who took on two bears to save a single pup, then again this was just a folk tale. Of course she was told this as a young pup though never heard the story, so chances are the Elders said it to make the young alpha feel special.
gender;; "Um? I'm a female."
Salith is most certainly a female. And even as a female she is still alpha and has yet to find a mate. This may not be as big of a deal as it normally would due to the fact that her pack is currently at the mercy of another.
age;; "I am at the age of 4 years"
Salith was in fact born about four and a half years ago to the current alphas of the pack. For her age she is a very good leader and incredibly strong-willed.
pack;; "None."
Salith was born in a small family pack, but over the years has lost touch with her pack side and for now resides as a loner, going her own ways whenever she pleases.
rank;; "No pack. No rank."
Since Salith does not belong to a pack, she does not have a rank. And for whatever reason she is just fine with that.
"There are chances and choices. They are the same thing."
- fur;; "White."
Salith's fur is much like the rest of her families before her. It is an off-white color. So while it is not perfectly white, it i still white. Due to the coldness of the area her fur is always rather long and thick, providing warmth to her body. While around her body itself it is extremely thick, it thins out around her legs.
eyes;; "Brown?"
Unlike most of her family who had dark brown eyes, a typical trait, Salith was born with copper eyes. Her eyes may appear a lighter brown in the light though darker brown in the shade.
build;; "Female though strong?"
Salith's build is somewhat of a mix between a hunter and a warrior. She has the average height of a female wolf, possibly an inch taller then others, a result of her long legs. She has a muscular body but still remains lithe enough to be quick and agile.
overall;; "A female. Stop asking questions."
In a forest that is dark with no snow it would be tough for Salith to blend in. This is largely due to her white coat, which is always clean. But if you place her in the snow she becomes lost to the eyes except for her cooper colored eyes. Her eyes are quite the stand out thing on her white face. They pop out against the light coat. She has a muscular chest, while her shoulders and hips are slim. Her thick coat makes her appear much bigger then she actually is. Salith always carries a certain commanding air about her, as she holds both her tail and her head high and rarely ever falters. Her legs are long, which allow for her to be agile as well as quick. Her paws are slightly large and this helps with her stability. She appears to be a very proud wolf and always has a thoughtful look planted in her eyes.
"I do not wish for a lifetime of regret, but a lifetime of actions."
- personality;; "Not typical I guess."
Salith is at first glance very calm and shy. She doesn't say much and almost always has a straight face. She is wise past her years, this is said to be due to the days she spent watching the world's happenings as a pup instead of running and playing with the others. In a way Salith is very serious and often doesn't take the time to have fun and play like other wolves of her age. She has a tendency to look down on those who constantly run around and act as if nothing is wrong. She doesn't have a problem with it, it's just that she wasn't raised like that. But talking with other is something fun, she often has a way of making the conversation interesting and taking it away from a boring chat. She is very witty and always has something to say that tends to be smart. She isn't one to insult very much, but when she does it tends to be hidden beneath her words. She is a very observant type of wolf, she will spend her days looking at the things around her. She is a hard working wolf and in no way a slacker. She has a tendency to ask questions most wolves wouldn't dare ask, but still have respect in it. But she does know when not to ask a question and show respect instead.
Once you get to know Salith she changes in her attitude. She becomes less serious and won't always insult secretly. But she still doesn't like when other consider that there is nothing wrong. She tends to be a little less shy and may even strike up a conversation with you instead of you having to start one with her. But she is still herself, she just acts nicer towards others. Salith doesn't trust easily, and believes anything that sounds good, is not true. She will often act in favor of others rather then herself, once she trusts you. However her trust is hard to get and even harder to keep. Once someone breaks her trust, gaining it back is nearly impossible. Which helps to explain why she keeps so much to herself.
History;; "Lengthy"
Salith was born to a small family pack with only her mother and three brothers, and was the youngest of all four. So at best she was looked down at. But this never discouraged the strong-willed pup, who unlike her brothers never wrestled or played. She would spend her time with her back turned towards them and looking out over the land. Her mother did find this strange but never questioned Salith about it, seeing as how the young pup was strange in many ways. When Salith was half a year old her mother went out hunting, but she never returned. This left Salith and her three brothers, Millo, Apache, and Solstice on their own. And being Salith she began to lead them rather then let her playful brothers do it. They went along with each other for a year, surviving on mostly berries. But then at one and a half years, Salith and her brothers split. Her brothers wanted to stay with the latest pack they had found, but for some reason Salith just didn't trust the pack's alpha. So she continued on her own way. For a while Salith continued on her own, able to hunt for herself now and she was a good hunter in fact, very agile and swift on her feet. But she had yet to try her skills on bigger prey, largely due to the fact that larger prey was impossible for her to hunt on her own. Around two and a half she found another pack, and while she wasn't too sure of them, she stayed with them. After all, the winter coming up promised to be a hard one. And so Salith joined in with the pack and settled in as one of the hunters there. And in this pack she harnessed her true hunting skills, excelling at it. The pack used her to their advantage, taking food from the rival pack. Of course she didn't know about this, she simply thought they were hunting on their territory. She eventually fell for one of the lead hunters in the pack, a very deserving wolf of his rank. But before she ever had pups she learned the pack was simply using her to diminish their rivals food supply. This angered her and she left the pack, knowing that was no place for her. This was at three years and ever since she had been traveling on her own.
crush;; "None."
Since Salith has kept to herself for a while, she has no crush and doesn't think she'll find one for quite some time, if ever.
mate;; "Please."
Without a mate, one can't have a crush. This is true with Salith.
pups;; "Don't count on it."
Another no for Salith, and truthfully she does want pups. She just doesn't want them with anyone though.
