We live in a growing village in wild Africa. We do a lot of important, dangerous jobs for the humans, although the jobs bring us all sorts of adventures into our canine life, so we don't complain. Our jobs vary, from herding cattle to pulling carts, even though our biggest mission is to protect our home from the dangers. That means leopards, cheetah's, lions, hyenas, crocodiles and kaymans. The zebras, antelopes, elephants, giraffes and gazelles can also be a trouble, as thet destroy and eat crops, can give a good kick and bring predators, so we either chase them away or hunt them. So we have quite a role.

You may die after a fight with a big cat or something, its harsh.
Don't attack humans unless they are baddies or your new.

Chance used to be a fun, loving dog before his mate died. Now he is more intelligent, serious, protective and caring, although there may be someone out there that can cure his sorrowful heart.

What has happened to you:
Chance was born in the bush, along with 2 siblings. The people of this village quickly adopted him, although his siblings did not survive. At 6 months, another GSD arrived, a female, Last Nights Rose. They fell in love and became mates soon. A year after, they had a litter of 4. The pups got taken by hyenas when the parents were asleep. The pair was devasted. A year after, they tried again. A litter of 3 was born, the parents more alert and protective. Two loner, brother lions attacked the village, so it was the parents duty to protect the village, and their pups. As a result, one pup got squashed, and the mother died. Chance was scarred.

Xena is a troublesome, rough puppy, very playful, funny and silly. She is very intelligent, although she may have selective hearing. She will fight in what she believes in.

Born here. Parents tried to protect 3 pups, as a result one brother got squashed and mother killed.

Alaric is all around a friendly dog. He is a little shy, butenjoys company. Alaric also has quite a bit of energy. He can run long distances for a long periods of time. Alaric gets along very well with the humans, but can sometimes be weary of them. He does alot better with the younger humans. Speaking of offsrping Alaric loves pups. He would do anything for any pup at anytime.

What has happened to you:
Alaric was a war dog. He came here with his human to fight, but the had to soon retreat. Alaric tried his best to get back to his master's side, but he was left behind. He wondered around for quite sometime before he came across the village. It called to him, so he stayed. Now he spnds his tme helping them out, and enjoying the times when the sing their songs.

Iris doesn't really talk much. She spends alot of time alone, away from others. She does talk when someone brings up a conversation (Which rarley happens). Although she may seem shy and harmless, she can tear of any lions tail. She is at her best when fighting and enjoys a good fight now and then.

What has happened to you:
Iris was born in a far away village. They weren't very nice people though. Thay didn't feed them much, and would punish them for sneaking food or failing to bring down prey. Iris was lucky though, because one day she was able to get out of one of the leashes they had on her and ran until she eventually found this home.

Xena, the wonderful, fearless, pretty, wild German shepherd crouched, ready to pounce out at the powerful brute that had stolen her territory. Now it was time to get it back, she thought as she slowly and cautiously creeped towards the furious male. She got ready to pounce, resting most of her weight on her strong back legs that were going to help her leap out. The brute rose, his red eyes glaring at her. He was surely larger than her, although Xena knew she could beat him. Abrutly, she pounced onto the brute, and they wrestled noisily, snapping and pinning each other down. Out of a sudden, a giant, massive, heavy paw cuffed her around her ear. Xena's head whipped around, with her paws pinning down the 'brute'. It was her father, Chance, looking disapointed at the two siblings, which were squealing, growling, nipping at mucking about. Broady struggled out from under his sister's weight. He sat down in front of his father, smiling apolitically. Xena padded to her brother's side, although did not sit down. "Da-ad. We were only playing!" Xena protested bravely. Chance snorted.
"That was not playing. That was mucking about. This, is playing," Chance corrected, then pounce out at obidient Broady, pinning him down lightly. Broady squealed excitedly, then a huge, toothy grin appeared on his face, He started pawing at his father's chest in vain to get out, growling ferociously. Xena leaped onto Chance's scruff, biting and pulling on his left ear.

Alaric was sitting, watching the people of the village going around doing their daily things. He let out a heavy sigh of boredom. He looked over at Chance and Xena and debated whether or not to go over and talk with them. Alaric decided to do it and got to his paws. He padded to Chance and gave him a small nod, "Hello there." He said with a smile before sitting down.

Chance looked over his shoulder at Alaric, and the trapped pup, Broady, managed to get free. "Aha!" He exclaimed, pouncing onto his father's nose. Broad giggled, looking up, he saw Alaric, and he slid down into a sit. Chance gave a nod too. "Hey, Alaric." The brute replied, getting up and shaking himself off from play. Xena calmed down for a second to check out the brute, but then she bounded over. "Hi, I'm Xena!" She exclaimed openly. Chance frowned lightly at her, then pulled her next to her brother.
"Sorry, we were just having some games..." Chance explained, hoping something didn't happen while they were mucking about.
