Kage's brown eyes were focused on nothing in particular as he stood at the ledge, his gaze resting on the warriors den more than once as he remembered his time as a younger wolf, he training as a warrior till his father died and he was to stand up in his place. The black male blinked his brown eyes and shook his head lightly turning his gaze to look back at the beta and the delta, who had now joined them, along with the apprentice, Dahlia. "It's ok Kodiak." He responded, turning his gaze to look at Dahlia as the apprentice shot a glare at Kodiak. The alpha's muzzle cracked with a small smile as he watched the two, his ears twitching as Kodiak spoke once again. "Dahlia can join the patrol, but she'll have to go speak to Dakota to find out which patrol she'll join." He said, looking away from the delta and apprentice, his eyes narrowed slightly as he got lost in his own thoughts. Dahlia hadn't chosen a respective rank just yet, so he'd have to assess her and see what her strengths and weaknesses were.

Dakota's ears began to twitch as she heard a faint grumbling sound come from the lead hunter, pulling her gaze away from Sherbet to look at Chase as he asked if anyone was hungry. The white female gave a short laugh then nodded, agreeing with Sherbet's answer as well. "Sure Chase." She said, spread across her muzzle was a wide smile as she sat there, her ears twitching slightly as she looked around camp. Dakota's light brown eyes glinted in the sunlight as she glanced back at her brother, who now had turned his attention to the delta and the apprentice that stood beside him. Her ears pricked forward as she tried to pick up their conversation, she heard a few snippets of the conversation but just decided it was worthless to listen and turned her attention back to Chase and Sherbet.
