pelt colour;; "I take after my father's looks, I have his black pelt."
eye colour;; "I can't see my own eyes, but I have been told my eyes are brown with flecks of amber within them."
scars;; "I have picked up scars throughout my life, but my main ones are the scar across the bridge of my muzzle, I got this from a run in with a badger while I was an apprentice and the scar on my right hind leg, I got this is a battle."
full description;; Kage is larger than the average size of a wolf of his age, he has broad shoulders and a well built body of a guard or a warrior, and underneath his black fur is all muscle. With his well built body and his powerful hind legs, this makes him a good fighter in battle. Kage has taken after many of his father's looks, one thing being his pelt colour. His fur is black with no markings throughout his fur, his fur his short and thin during the warmers seasons but thickens a lot as the temperature drops. This male has brown eyes, with amber flecks within his eyes and in the sunlight his eyes seem to light up in a way no one can really describe. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

likes;; "I guess I like many things, but the main one would have to be that I like the snow and rain, I also quite enjoy swimming, helps me relax. I guess I like being alone at times and enjoying the silent moments in life. I enjoy being alpha too, that's fun."
dislikes;; "This list may go on forever, but I really hate cold hearted wolves who don't care about how others feel. I also hate extraordinary heats, makes me feel extra tired."
talents;; "I am good at fighting, I grew up training to be a warrior but I ended up succeeding my father and becoming alpha. I'm also good at swimming, I love the water. I have great negotiation skills and I'll admit, I'm quite the charmer, you better watch out females.. Don't worry, I'm only joking."
flaws;; "Hunting. I'm not good at it, that's why I leave it to the lead hunter to catch the prey. Some of my pack mates tell me I'm too soft on enemies, so they believe I'm a soft leader. I just don't like unnecessary battles."
personality;; Kage, the son of Dustin, he was a natural born a leader and he has confidence and courage boiling within him, making him a great leader like his father before him. Kage has a kind personality and he avoids sending his pack into unnecessary battles, he prefers talking his way out instead of a battle. But that doesn't mean he is soft, he will fight for his pack when the time is right, he just doesn't send his pack blindly running into battle. Kage is quite the charmer and is known for his flirty ways, though he is loyal once he has found the one, he will never leave his side; making him very protective over the ones he loves. At first glance, everyone seems to think he is cold-hearted and evil, but that is all incorrect he is the complete opposite. He is kind, protective and smart._________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

history;; The yelps and whimpers of pain emerged from the healers den from where a mother was giving birth to her pups, the leader healer stationed by her side as the first pup entered the world. "A male" She confirmed, picking the pup up by it's scruff and placing the pup beside it's mother. One of the other healers gently place her paw on the mothers stomach and pressed lightly, only to be rewarded with a growl from the mother. The healer turned her gaze to the lead healer, "one pup left." She announced. Moments later the second pup entered the world, and the whimpers disappeared as the mother was left to rest few moments. She then raised her head and observed the two pups that laid beside her. "Get Dustin." She murmured to no one in particular. A healer nodded and raced out of the den, only to enter moments later with the alpha following closely behind her. Dustin turned his head to look at Luna and the two pups, his jaws dropping open and his eyes getting a glassy look to them as he approached Luna, gently giving her muzzle a quick lick. "There beautiful." He said in a quiet voice, lying beside Luna and lowering his head to look at his pups. "What are we going to call them?" He asked glancing back at Luna who was gazing at the pups. The black pups squirmed and gently shoved his sister slightly, Luna couldn't help but laugh. "We'll call the female Dakota; after my grandmother." She answered, bending down and giving the white pup's head a small lick. "You decide a name for the male." Luna added, glancing back at Dustin. The black brute looked down at his son, who'd one day be his successor, after a few moments he decided. "Kage." He said simply. "Kage, the fearless." He added in a quieter voice to himself. Luna nodded, "Dakota and Kage." She murmured warmly, giving both pup's heads a quick lick.
2 months later; "Kage, get back inside this den this instant!" came a voice from into the alphas den. Kage ignored his mothers calls as he stood on the ledge where his father made announcements from, his black tail wagging behind him happily as he watched the scouts enter camp and head over to where the head scout stood, perched on his branch. Kage was so intently focused on watching camp that he hadn't realised someone had approached him. "Kage, isn't your mother calling for you?" Came a voice, his voice. Dustin's voice. Kage glance over his shoulder and upwards to look at his father who stood behind him. Though what confused him, was that he was getting scowled but Dustin didn't look the least bit angry, he seemed more, amused.. Kage didn't say anything just stared up at his father as thoughts continued to cross his mind. Kage let out a yelp as he felt teeth connect with the scruff on fur on his neck, "put me down." He demanded, squirming in his fathers jaws. Dustin entered his den, still holding Kage by his scruff and gently placed him back in the nest beside Luna. Kage turned and tried to escape by was snatched up by Luna, who began to groom the black pup. Kage furiously tried to escape from his mother's grasp, but it was hopeless. "Mother, let go of me." He said through gritted teeth as he ducked to try avoid his mother's tongue. "Kage, you might as well just sit still and let me groom you. So you can go play again." She said, smiling as Kage finally sat still and let his mother groom him.
"There done, now that wasn't hard was it?" Luna said. Kage shook himself and turned to the den entrance, "mother, can I go play with Terry?" He asked curiously. Terry was his friend, even though Terry was three months older than Kage himself. Luna nodded slightly, "take Dakota with you too." She said, rolling over in the nest and resting her head on her paws and closing her eyes before Kage could complain. Kage slowly made his way down the slope, followed by Dakota. The two them raced over to the nursery were Terry slept with the other pups. Terry was the oldest amongst them all, also in the nursery was Anackey and Chase. They weren't siblings but they had both been born roughly around the same time and where the youngest in the nursery. "Terry! Wake up!" He called into the den, almost instantly Terry's brown head popped up from where he was sleeping and a carefree smile appeared on his muzzle as he looked at Kage. "Hello Kage." He said as he rose to his paws and padded to the den entrance, glancing over his shoulder to make sure his mother, Sakura hadn't noticed he was awake. "Come on Terry, were going to go have some fun." He said, turning and padding away. Terry silently followed after Kage who was sneaking past the adult wolves who were rushing back and forth, with reports about patrols, guards shifting positions and hunters racing in with caught prey. Kage paused by the camp entrance and turned back to the older pup. "Were going out into the forest." He said in a hush voice, Terry's eyes brightened and he nodded excitedly. "No Kage, we can't mother said we have to stay in camp." Dakota said, rushing in front of Kage to stop him from exiting camp. "Come on Dakota, how about a little fun?" He pleaded, his sister thought for a couple of moments; while she was distracted Kage and Terry slipped past her and ran out of camp. Dakota called after them but after a saying their names three times she stopped. Kage and Terry stopped running and laughed, "how fun was that?" Kage asked, laughing.
Kage and Terry wandered through the territory, chasing after a mice they found or just simply walking around and enjoying the time while they could. Terry suddenly stopped and looked around, "Kage where are we?" He asked, his voice laced with worry. Kage glanced back at the older pup, then looked around. He had to admit he didn't know this part of the forest. "Um. I dunno." He admitted, his ears pinning against the back of his head. "Were lost!" Terry yelled out, he crouched down and began to shake like a leaf, obviously terrified. Kage looked around again, "calm down Terry, I'll get us back to camp." He said, sounding more confident then he meant to. The two turned around and headed in the direction they thought camp was, "how big is this forest!" Kage spat under his breath as he squeezed under a fallen tree, while Terry jumped over it. Just as he said that, came a rustle from a near by bush. Both pups froze instantly and turned to look at the bush. That's when it happened a grey wolf leapt out from his hiding spot and snapped his jaws at the two pups. Terry and Kage let out a yelp and scampered away, though Terry wasn't fast enough and the wolf caught him by his left ear, tearing Terry's left ear. Kage and Terry continued to run, the grey wolf still behind them snapping his jaws. Then a black wolf jumped out from his hiding spot, "Kage, Terry. Run!" He said, snapping his own jaws at the grey wolf. The black wolf was Dustin, he in fact had followed after the two pups scent after Dakota had told her father that they had left camp. Kage and Terry both hide underneath a thorn bush, both shaking with fear as they watched the battle between Dustin and the lone wolf. Dustin was victorious chasing off the grey wolf. Kage and Terry emerged from their hiding spots as Dustin returned, with a disappointed and angry look in his amber eyes. "Lets go." He said, his tone letting out no emotion.
Kage and Terry entered camp with their head bowed, pack-mates turned their heads to watch the two pups as they followed after Dustin who now carried new wounds. Sakura raced across camp to meet the three, Dustin stopped and turned to look at Sakura. "Take Terry to the healer's den, once the healers have looked at him, he will return to the nursery. Make sure you keep a close eye on him." Dustin said. Sakura nodded and led Terry away.
Kage silently followed his father up the pathway to the alphas den, the young pup cast a quick glance into the betas den as they past it. The beta male sat in his nest staring out of the den, his green eyes meeting Kage's brown eyes. Kage quickly pulled his gaze away and looked down at his paws as he followed Dustin into the alpha den. Luna sat in her nest, obviously worried and Dakota sat beside her with a smug look on her face, when Kage entered the den she mouthed 'busted' to him. Luna looked up sharply as they both entered. "Kage! Do you know how worried I was when Dakota returned telling me you left camp!" She snapped, jumping to her paws and racing towards Kage and smothering him in licks of distress. Dustin stood behind Kage, silently watching as Luna scowled Kage. "Sorry." He mumbled, lowering his gaze to look at neither his father or mother. "Luna," came Dustin's voice, the white female looked up at her mate who stared at her and Kage. With a small nod she stepped back and turned back to Dakota who sat in silence. Dustin turned and exited the den, calling for Kage to follow him. Dustin stepped out into the ledge and sat down, waiting for Kage to follow him. The black pup took a seat beside his father, but kept his gaze lowered. "Kage." He said sternly, looking down at the pup beside him. Kage glanced up at his father. "Kage, you know what you've done wrong, and I will not punish you or Terry. I expect you to learn from your mistakes." He said, pausing to let his words sink in. Dustin sighed softly, "Kage look around you. This pack will one day be yours to command, that's only if you make the right decision. The best of leaders know when to admit their mistakes." He told Kage, looking over the pack as the wolves hurried back and forth. "Kage, I may not be able to protect you at all times, and I will one day leave this world forever, along with many of our pack-mates that serve us. Younger ones will step up in their spots and take command. You Kage will take command over them all, you are destined to become leader." Dustin told Kage, glancing back at the black pup. Kage stared up at his father with shock, "father, what about Dakota. She might be a better leader than me." He complained in a quiet voice. Dustin only chuckled and shook his head, "no Kage. Dakota may have a leader's spirit, but she is not meant to lead the whole pack. She is destined to lead one of the four head positions." He said, glancing over his shoulder back into the den behind him and without another word he rose to his paws and turned, heading to the den entrance but he paused for a moment and mumbled something. "Learn from your mistakes." He then entered the den, greeting his mate with a quick lick on the forehead. Kage turned his gaze away from his father and stared down at the camp below him, and all the wolves that were in it. I am going to lead this pack. He thought bubbling with excitement.
9 months of age; Kage stood beside his mentor, a large brown wolf named Ricky. Kage had grown lots in the past 7 months, his broad shoulders had become to develop more and he was becoming muscular. Kage had been given the lead warrior as his mentor, though he was confused. If he were to become alpha why was he given a warrior as a mentor, this question all left him stumped. So he asked his father one day, "father, if I am to become alpha. Why is Ricky my mentor?" He asked, taking a seat in front of his father. Dustin grinned, "you firstly need to learn what it means to be a normal pack member with your share of the pack duties." He stated simply. Kage nodded and left his father to enjoy the silence. Kage headed to the apprentices den, to find Terry sitting out the front talking to his sister. "Hey Terry." He barked, approaching the brown wolf. Kage flinched slightly as he looked at Terry's ear, that now remained torn from the attack of the grey wolf. Terry has also received a warrior mentor and both were training to become warriors, well Kage was really training to become alpha. But he didn't tell anyone that. Kage glanced at his sister, Dakota. She gave a small smile before rising to her paws and padding away, leaving the two to themselves. Dakota received a scout as a mentor, and Kage instantly knew that his sister was destined to become lead scout when the time was right, she was already showing great potential already.
Kage and Terry once again went out into the forest alone, but they made sure the pack knew before they left. Both apprentices had received good training and were able to defend themselves. Kage and Terry were talking by the river when they were attacked by a badger that was looking for a easily meal. "You ready Terry?" Kage asked with a grin, Terry returned the grin, "always." Kage and Terry attacked the badger, and in the end they both ended up defeating the badger and they both bore new wounds that would become scars. Kage and Terry brought the badger back to camp and were both praised for protecting the pack. Kage receive a claw wound along the bridge of his muzzle and Terry was bitten on the shoulder.
2 years of age; Kage strode into camp followed by Terry and two other wolves, an old male that was a blue-grey colour and a younger female around the age of one. Kage pulled stopped walked and glanced over his shoulder back at Terry and the two loners, "wait here." He said, his voice now had become deeper as he had grown older and under his fur he was well built with his muscular frame. Kage turned and padded up the pathway to the alpha den that rested at the top, the beta and delta pairs emerged from their dens to look at the newcomers, the black male stopped at the den entrance. "Father, we have visitors." He said, stepping back as a black wolf, who's muzzle had become grey with age emerged from the den, closing followed by Luna. Dustin padded along to the edge of ledge and stopped, his amber eyes focused on the two wolves that stood behind Terry. Luna went to stand on the left side of Dustin while Kage stood a little behind Dustin on the right, his ears pricked forward as he glanced at his father, then the two wolves.
"Who are you and what were you doing in my territory?" Dustin demanded, his tail raised in the air showing his dominance. The old male bowed his head in respect, "we are sorry we intruded on your territory, but me and my daughter have travelled far in look for a pack that seeks only peace. We wish to join you." The male explained, his voice croaked as he spoke. Dustin's gaze then softened as the old male finished explaining. "Well, by all means, welcome to the pack. I am Dustin, leader of this pack. Who may you be?" He asked. The blue-grey male spoke once again, "I am Blue, this is my only daughter Skylar." He told the alpha. Dustin nodded, "your positions will be decided later." He said as he turned and padded back into his den, a slight limp in his step. Kage turned to look at Luna as she watched after Dustin, her eyes glinted with worry as she watched her mate limp to his nest. Kage peered into the den to look at his father once again as he sat down, the look in his eyes told him about what he was thinking about. "Father's already decided their positions hasn't he?" He asked. Luna glanced at Kage, then nodded. "Skylar's destined to be an omega, how she held herself showed that she was an omega in her old pack. She's never had the experience of a higher ranked wolf." Luna explained in a hush voice to Kage, "your father won't send someone to be an omega in front of the whole pack, it is considered to be dishonourable. Unless the wolf had committed a bad crime." She added, turning and leaving Kage to stand by himself on the ledge.
Kage turned to look down at the two new wolves of the pack, Skylar stood, her tail tuck between her legs and her ears pinned against her head as Kage's over-excited sister bounded up to greet her. Kage turned and slowly padded down the pathway to where the pack stood, investigating the newcomers. Kage made his way around the group to stand beside Terry who had moved out of the why and was currently watching the group. "Skylar's going to be an omega." He told Terry in a hush voice, Terry simply nodded. Kage then turned and headed back to the warriors den, silently slipping through the den entrance and going over to were he slept, the black male laid down. His chin resting on his paws and his eyes closing as he drifted off into a light sleep. It only felt like a couple of moments he slept until he was woken by the commotion in camp. He heard a mixture of, "wheres Kage?" or "someone go find Kage" and "what will we say to him." Kage growled and rose to his paws and strode out of the warriors den, the wolves in camp looked towards cage, then bowed their heads. "I'm here, what do you want to tell me." He growled, annoyed from being deprived of his sleep. A scout stepped forward, her head bowed she so didn't make eye contact with Kage. "It's your father, he went out alone and was attacked by the enemies patrol." Kage felt has if the world stopped when the scout finished the report, "where is he now?" He snapped, the guard next to the scout bowed his head as well. "He's in the forest, the healers are doing everything in their power to save him." He informed Kage. The black male growled under his breath and turned to head out of camp, but was stopped by Dakota who entered camp and turned to Kage. "Father's dying Kage." She informed him, turning around and exiting camp again. Knowing that Kage would follow her.
Kage entered the clearing where his father lay, struggled to breath. Luna crouched beside her mate and pushed her muzzle into his fur as she sobbed. Dustin's ears flicked slightly at the sound of paw steps. "Kage?" He croaked, turning his head to look at his son. "I'm here father," Kage replied sitting beside his dying father. Dustin coughed a few times, "you'll be a great leader. Though you are still young, you are brave and loyal towards the pack. You have proven to be worthy of the rank many times." He said letting out a sigh. "Take care of the pack, your mother and sister. Good bye." He murmured. The alpha's flank fell still as he drew his last breath and the forest fell silent except for his mother's sobbing. Kage threw his head back and let out a howl, a sad howl that called for the spirits of their ancestors to come collect the fallen ones spirit. Dakota threw her head back and joined in the howling. Luna, Kage and Dakota stayed their till night fall, mourning the death of the great leader himself.
The next morning the healers went and buried the alphas body, Kage remained seated, his head bowed and his eyes closed. Dakota's muzzle was pushed into his fur as the two pups mourned the death of their father. "Kage, Dakota." Comes there mothers voice, Kage opened his eyes and glanced up at his mother. "We best get back to camp." She says, rising to her paws and nudging both wolves. Dakota rises and slowly heads back to camp, followed by Kage and Luna. As Kage enters camp the wolves hat were awake turned there gazes to look at the three, the black male turned and headed up along the pathway to the ledge standing at the edge. "Alpha is dead." He calls out to the pack, "and I will be your new alpha now." He adds after a short pause. Wolves within the clearing rise to there feet and throw there heads back as they howl.
