Mikal blinked and tiled his head as she female flinched back. What had she been through? It couldnt have been good if it made her act like this. "Well...Im sorry for whatever pain you have suffered. But I assure you I mean no harm."

Raine snorted, keeping her gaze away from his still. "That's what Rapture said." The female twisted so that the lion could see the four fine scratches on her shoulder that were healing, but sure to become scars. "Didn't last long." She ground out, moving to hide them again.

Mikal looked at her scratches and sighed. He looked down and nodded. "I understand. You have trust issues with males. Its understandable." He said

Raine turned, meeting his gaze again finally. Her pale eyes where narrowed, and confused. "That younger one, Skye. I don't understand her. She seemed so scared and untrusting, yet she took to you immediately. I don't know how she did it." Raine murmured carefully. She had once been naive enough to run with any lion she came across, but that innocence was quickly fading.

{ I've been really bored, so I've just been sitting here thinking about their histories for the past couple months. I'm not sure what happened with her. I think I really screwed her up XD. }

(Oh....Ive been thinking about ways to liven the rp up a bit with Jingle and Twila but I cant think as Im a bit tired.)

Mikal looked back at Skye and shrugged. "Dunno. Maybe some lions and lionesses can just handel it better."

Tess walks to mikal and just sat she was still hive ring from running away from Leto

Raine watched him carefully, still unsure about this lion. "I suppose so." She murmured, raising herself up onto her round paws. She looked at Tess and backed up a couple steps, not taking her eyes on the male. She wasn't sure about any of theses lions, except for the younger one. She knew that lion was smart enough to know how to accept help to survive, and how to place her trust. Two things Raine could do well to learn.

Mikal smiled and looked at Tess. "hey." He said with a soft smile. He then looked at Raine. "So..do you have a name?"

Raine flicked an ear, looking at Tess for a brief moment before back at Mikal. "Raine." The lioness murmured, flicking her tail and looking at him as if she expected him to share his name, though she had heard it earlier when he was talking to Skye and Tess.

{ Yeah, I'm having trouble constructing short sentences. I think I'm gonna go lay down for a while. I'll be back in a couple hours. }
