The stallon snorted as he trotted along, throwing his head from time to time and shaking his grey mane. He pawed at the ground as- he waled, and ever so often he would sniff at the air for any heat scents. He swerved his ears forward and snorted again before he whinnied. Then the stallion began to canter again, going as fast as he could, his neck was stretched out as he ran, his mane and tail flowing.

The mare snorted, and she decided to go back to grazing, but her ears perked as she heard a short whinny in the distance. She guessed it was from a stallion, and she glanced around nervously. She guessed she should go, just to check it out, and if the stallion was nice and asked her to join his herd, she would. The palomino mare trotted towards where the sound had come from, which was a bit away from the river. She soon came to a halt as she spotted a dapple grey stallion (Ash). Golden Flame snorted and pawed at the ground, shaking her head and she blinked her eyes. The mare whinnied softly, trotting on the spot for a few moments, and she watched the stallion.

i finish drinking from the iver, and bend up look around. my eys scanning the land i could see. thee were no stallions around, i smile to myself and start to trot through the river, and up on the other side. i shake myself out, my coat looking like shiny rusy in the faint sunlight. my ambe eyes looking around before i stated on my totting again.

Ash stood in silence for a few more moments, then snorted with annoyance as he didn't hear a reply. The dapple grey stallion shook out his black mane and stamped his hoof to the ground as he lowered his head and pulled up a bit of grass, he chewed on it and swallowed. The stallion pulled at another piece of grass just as he heard a whinny, surprised the stallion looked up immediately quickly swallowing the bit of grass that he was currently chewing. Ash sniffed the air again, and instantly knew it was a mare. He honestly couldn't believe his luck, it was only the first couple of days into spring and he had already managed to actually find a mare. The hard thing was to get her to join his herd.

Ash watched the palomino mare as she pranced on the spot for a few moments then stopped, was she showing off. He couldn't help but laugh mentally to himself, most mares avoided stallions and there were only a few that actually wanted to be with a stallion. Ash's ears pricked forward and he nickered to her in response, pawing at the ground and lowering his head to show he wasn't a threat. After a few moments he raised his head and slowly approached the mare, pausing every now and again to make sure he wouldn't scare her off. When he was only a few metres away, he dared to ask something. "What's a beautiful mare like you doing out here alone?" He question, a grin appearing on his muzzle as he sniffed the air once again, taking in the mares heat scent.

The stallion soon slowed down, snorting, and then he came to a full stop. He sniffed at the air, and he caught the scent of a mare, and he nickered before going towards the scent. The dappled grey stallion swished his tail out behind him, and he soon spotted the mare. She had a kind of brown coat, or a rusty brown coat (Chestnut), and he snorted.

Golden snorted and watched as Ash watched her before he nickered in her response and lowered his head, showing he wasn't a threat. She pawed at the ground and watched as the stallion came closer to her, and she swished her tail as she wathed the stallion, making sure he didn't get to close to her. When the stallion stopped a few metres in front of her, she snorted again and stretched her neck forward slightly, sniffing at the air near the stallion before she jerked her head back. When the stallion asked her a question, she shook her mane, thinking before she responded. "I've always been alone, not once have I been in a herd, because my mother was a lone mare." Golden snorted in reply, and she pawed at the ground, watching the stallion closely.

i suddenly hear a light snort in the distance. it was prbaly from a stallion who has scented me. i look around nervously, but dont spot anything... yet. i snort back with a beat of my hoof of the ground. i look around again, my bown mare flicking around my face. i get a little scared, i didnt want to mate. i wasnt ready.. al i wanted now was my brothe... oh, i wish he was here. i close my eyes, hoping the stallion wouldnt come. i open my eyes, seeing nothing.

The stallion watched the mare as she snorted and beated her hoof on the ground before she looked around. Cloud watched the mare, and he snorted again. He blinked his eyes and lowered his head slightly, still watching her. Then he slowly moved forward. If the mare saw him and ran, that was his bad luck. He most likely wouldn't go after her if she ran.

Ash blinked his dark brown eyes as he watched the palomino mare in interest, his left ear flicking to the side slightly as he watched her carefully. Ash wasn't the one to force a mare into his herd, he'd let her join by choice. His ears pricked forward once again as the mare responded to his question, but he couldn't help but notice how closely the mare was watching him and she seemed pretty wary. "Ah. No wonder. You must be very good at hiding from stallions, since you aren't part of a herd." He stated calmly, he opened his mouth to say something but stopped, and said something completely different to what he intended to say at first. "I'm sorry, how rude am I. After fire comes Ash, at your service." He said with a quick dip of his head, "But please, just call me Ash." He added raising his head to look back at Golden, a small smile appearing on his muzzle. "May I ask what your name is?" He now asked, taking a small step forward.

i see the stallion come from the shadows and flinch slightly. i did want to run badly, but thee were still stallions out there, and who knew if that stallion was nice or bad? i move back a little, making space for the stallion. my eyes blink at the stallion, my amber eyes spakling lightly in the sunlight.

Cloud looked at the mare as she moved back a bit, and he snorted lightly and lowered his head a little more, pawing at the ground. "I'm not going to hurt you." He snorted lightly, he knew the mare was scared. He swerved his ears around, but he kept his head low. "See?"

She listened as the stallion spoke, and she blinked her blue eyes as he spoke about how she must be good at hiding, if she wasn't in a herd. She grew less wary of the stallion as he said that his name was After fire comes Ash, but to call him Ash. Golden flicked an ear as the stallion asked for her name, and the palomino mare snorted lightly before she responded. "My name is Golden Flame. But you can call me Golden, or Flame, whatever you like." She nickered, and the mare swished her silvery white tail, and she continued to watch Ash. She blinled her eyes as the stallion took a small step forward, but she made no attempt to escape or step back.

i guess i could trust this stallion, i just didnt want to mate with anyone. i lower my head in respect, but still not talking at the moment. i look back up to the stallion, and his black mane. i smile a little, maybe, just maybe, i could trust this stallion for once.

dragons revenge
the scent loaded my nose, i couldnt hold it. i needed follow the scent of the mares. i start to walk, my nose lefted high in the air. after a few minutes of walking, i start to see some horses grazing in the distance. i smile to myself and trot down quietly.
