"I'm not entirely sure what killed Smallkit but Sandtail couldn't stop the wounds Smallkit had received from bleeding. He had lost too much blood..." Her voice trailed off at the end and" she sighed. Fernstep turned to look at the kit. "I may not be your mother but I can try my best to take care of you."

"I take care of you to" She choked out and forced a smile. "You act like real mommy" She complimented and looked through her one good eye. "Momma did not really think I would live because of this..." She opened her blind eye to show a white eye that was surely blind.

"Your eye is blind... Well, that's OK. Since you're in a clan now that wont matter too much. You wont die." Fernstep replied. "There have been other cats with one eye blind that have lived long lives, most lived long enough to be an elder."

I smiled. "I want to be like Sandtail! I know herbs like.. Burdock and catmint!" I said hopefully.

Nightwish rolled her eyes ahd watched the two cats tussle about. She chuckled as she watched Snowpaw ounce on the unsuspecting Mothpaw. " Heh, the element of surprise is always good to have, though if you remain vigilent, even a surprise attack will not be as effective. " she purred softly, curling her tail around her paws.

Back at the RiverClan camp, Silentfeather dropped the herbs he had carried inside the medicine cat den. " Now for that spider bite " he said, turning to Hawkpaw. " What do you think we should do about it? " he asked, arranging the herbs in a neat space.

"Well, burdock root treats rat bites, but I'm not sure it would help with spider bites," he said. He wasn't completely sure, but hoped he was correct.

I smiled triumphantly and pounced on top of her tail once more. "I like herbs!" I said smiling.

"Warriors and Apprentice nice!" She said surprised that they would do that. She looked up and rolled back onto her paws. Deathkit pouunced onto Fernsteps tail and batted at it with her forepaws. She lost balance and fell onto her back. She laughed and nibbled on her tail once more and pounced onto her back and nipped at her ears. "SEE! I can be warrior too!" Mewled playfully.

Fernstep purred at the kit. "Sure you can. I take it this means you want to stay in the clan?"

Sandtail flicked his tail. "It's set back in the right place, do you want that poppy seed now?"

"Oh I hope so!" Dawnpaw sighed, then she pricked her ears and scented the air. Her hackles ose. "Thunderclan, and close!" She hissed.

Riverclan:
Froststar smiled. "Sounds good. Am I interupting something?" She said, with a glance at Solarkit.

Windclan:
Mapleleaf finished half her meal.

Wolfclaw frowned and scented the air. "You're right. But can you tell where they are?" He challenged his apprentice.
