Cleo wagged her tail at this dog's small smile. She noticed his tense frame and something told her from his watchful eyes that this would really all that she would get from him regarding a positive reaction. Feeling a bit more relaxed at his response though, she sat down.
"So Ever, have you ever..." Cleo groaned at herself and placed her paw on her muzzle to hide her face. All she succeded in doing though was akwardly hitting herself.

Eden laid down again. "Eden." He said. He began to remove the sandwich parts and he tossed the bread and some of the cheese on the side. "You can have those if you want. I don't like bread or cheese. It doesn't make sense to me to put it on a perfectly good sandwich. It ruins it!" Eden said.

Blue looked over to see Trace run off and then walked off. She backed away as another person tried to pet her again.

Ever was looking at her, amusement lined his eyes. He came up with his own name, and liked it. Humans that he had ever been owned by, just called him, Dog.

Raven smiled. "A sandwich generally consists of bread, and or cheese" she said. "But I've never cared for them much either." she stood up, and moved closer. "Do you live in the park?"

Eden shrugged. "I live wherever I could, I guess. I'm a stray. How about you? You seem quite cheerful. I envy that. I used to be cheerful. I used to be happy. Now I'm not." Eden said. He shook his head. "But I don't care about that anymore. I care about living." He looked up at Raven. "And maybe having a few friends. I guess I never had a friend before." He said looking down again. "I'm so used to not talking to anyone but myself."
