Lyric watched as Haru set off. She had noticed how all omegas were thinner than other wolves. She stood up and ran out of the camp. She stalked around looking for something small. Lyric froze when a familar scent filled her nostrils. She froze as a growl that only a bear made filled the air. Quickly she whirled around and a creature 4 times her size stood on its hind legs.

Haru was only a ways out of camp when he heard the bear's growl. He paused, trying to see if he had heard wrong but when he scented the air the fur on his spine rose. Bear. He swivilded around, going causiosally towards the scent. In the bushes ahead he saw Lyric and the bear, all of his senses alrert he lept out from where he was to land beside Lyric, a growl rose in his throat.

Lyric slightly jump away from Haru then growl, "R-run!" She turned and was about to begin to run when the Bear landed by her on all fours. She jumped away, barly not getting crushed.

"I'll follow you!" He barked in response, lashing out at the bear with his claws. As the bear attempted to land on Lyric he jumped over her and bit down as hard as he could. He had to make time for her to get away then he could, he thought as he raked his back claws down the bear's pelt.

Lyric looked over at Haru, "We hav-have to r-run o-out of the t-t-territory! I-it w-will follow!" She jumped on the bears back and bit down on its ear bear tearing a chunk off and running away from the camp.

Haru nodded, though it would have been impossible to tell with how he was fighting. He jumped off the bear and raced after her though, feeling as though his paws did not even touch the ground. Casting a glance back he was reassured that the bear was following them, but he didn't like how fast it was going. "We're almost there" He said in between pants, trying to speed up.

Lyric looked back at the bear, "We will hav-have to k-keep goi-going!'' lyric risked a look over at Haru and slightly tripped over her own two paws, causing herself to slow. She regained herself and tried picking up her speed, but it was too late. A huge paw came across her back legs sending her flying.

"Lyric!" He shouted as she fell, and went flying moments later. Drawing up to his full size Haru lept at the bear, trying to draw it away from her. He felt his jaws clamp down on the bear's leg and tried to use his back claws to rake the underbelly. Soon he was thrown off, landing with a yelp. There was a cut across his flank and he walked with a limp but he threw himself back at the bear anyway.

Lyric tried to stand, but fell to the ground. She laid there when her eyes were drawn to Haru. Seeing him hurt put rage in her belly, and she stood. A sharp pain shot through her but she ignored it. She charged at the bears face and clamped onto its forehead, and began clawing with her back legs trying not to get bitten. She felt her front claw enter the bear's eye and the bear growled in pain throwing her and Haru off. She caught her self and began to charge again.
