Once the Elk fell Shadow let go of the back of the neck and grabbed ahold of the front of the neck clamping onto the wind pipe and sufacating the deer

Anyane kept her paws firmly on the elk until she felt it heave it's last breath. Taking a step back she looked at it and then to Shadow. "Nice job!" She commented

Lyric buried her face into his pelt, "Yes it was! I killed one of the pups! It was my job to protect them, but I kill him!!"he continued to cry, "Then two others died just so I could get away!"

SHadow nodded "like wise" he said looking down at the elk "thanks" he said quietly then grabbed the Elk and started to drag it back to camp

Haru searched for words to comfort her, hating that she was so upset. "In the midst of battle no one thinks quite right. Enemies are all around you. Because of the fight, and because of that situation you were in.. you weren't yourself. That pup's death doesn't lay on your shoulders alone. If the other wolf had not attacked you, nothing would have happened. But she did." He paused, looking down at her. "As for the two others who died, I don't know about them or how they died. Yet I know if they were with you, getting you safe was their priority.

Lyric snuggled into the brutes chest, and slowly her cryingbegan to stop, "I apologize for bothering you with this." She slowly pulled away and hid her face in under her paws.

"No need to apologize in the slightest." Haru responded. He put his head on her back and breathed in her scent. "I'm here for you." He said in a hushed whisper.

Lyric whispered something in a voice that could barley be heard, "I really like you Haru." She closed her eyes and held her breath.

Haru smiled, looking down to this fae he had come to like. Copying her hushed tone he said, "Don't you know I'm practically head-over-paws for you, Lyric?" He asked.

Lyric adverted her gaze for a moment then turned her vision back to him, then nuzzled Haru.
