Orion still had loads of hate to that mutt, he just refused to believe that Jason Just wanted to go out on his own. His week body trembled in pain, but the sight of his mate and his little girl made him at ease once more "no my little dove we are not going to chase after him. it is hid choice to not stay. Since he chose not to we will let him venture out on his own." he smiled at his little girl hoping she was oaky. the presence of his mate also made him smile and feel happy. being alone without them was hard even for a harden warrior such as him self.

"Will he come back, I wonder." shier muttered to herself, looking off into the direction which he left. "You sure you didn't scare him?" She turned and asked with a hint of humor. Diana jumped in after her mother, "He is kinda scary sometimes." She had said it like it was a real conversation, for a little pup would not know better. Shiera just laughed a bit and looked down at Diana with a smile, then looked back at Orion. Was there ever a quarrel between you and him before?" she asked him.

Orion simply smiled up at his mate and shook his head just a tad bit. he was happy to see his little daughter was unharmed and was being her self "yes there was my love, a very long time ago. its a very long drawn out story of how we met and how our quarrel started and became what it is now. He is a dog and I am a wolf." he managed to get his hurt and wore out body to stand and he licked his mate

"My concern is how you managed you meet a dog." Shiera replied, ""Get some rest, please. you look morbid." She finished, warmth in her voice to disguise her endless worry. She turned and hushed Diana's fuffing about and nudged her step by step towards their den. Earlier in the day, Shiera had replaced their den's bedding with dried moss from the river plains. Diana's words her mumbles and thoughts while walking. She was already up to Shiera's shoulders -if she stood straight- other size she was fairly small for a wolf her age.

Orion felt nothing but hunger and pain. It roared in his body. The fight with Zues tested his skills in battle and his ability to protect his love Shiera and his daughter. His legs trembled as battle wounds seem to only get worse. His body gave in and he collapsed to the ground, his lungs took in deep and powerful breaths too keep the blood moving through his veins. His vision blurred as he thought {Orion you wimp! please! you have a family to protect! you mustn't let them down! fight you mutt! fight the pain!} but he replied outward "I have done nothing but fight all my life! I struggle even to this day to keep my love ones safe! when will the fighting end!" he yelped. the voice in his head replied {when your dead.} it sent shivers down his spine.

To Shiera's ears, Orion sounded like a sick eagle. Diana was also worried and pulled over her unfinished limb of a roe buck. Showers took it from her daughter and walked out across the dusty ground and leisurely breeze to Orion. She dropped the meat in front of him."Eat up Orion, it's stale, but it's still ok to eat. She said. Shiera licked Orion's ears reassuringly and turned away, facing the den. Law hen you feel better, you can come. She said over her shoulder.

Orion sighed as he turned onto his belly and ate the stale meat greatfully. He watched as his mate walked away thinking {she has been loyal to me even in my worse of times, she always helps and always love me no matter what I go through or what she goes through. how will I ever repay her for her kindness and love to me? I will find a way.} he continued to eat. He shook his head and scorned him self for forgetting to tell his love Shiera how greatful he was for the food but by the time he turned his head to say thank you, his daughter and mate had already laid down in the den to rest. he shook his head and finished his meal. With renewed strength he stood up and with a leisurely pace he walked to the small river located just out beside there den hidden behind some trees. He looked down into the water and marvled at how his looked had changed since last time he had sat there. He had an eye that was missing, a scar from the top of his brow to the middle of his cheek on his other. He had scars on his neck from where enemies would try to end his life but failed. His fur was no longer the great white is was months ago, it was stained with blood of either him or the ones he fought. He shook his head at his very own image and slapped the water and watched as it rippled his scared face and body. He stood up "what have I become? what am I? what has changed me to this?" he took a step in the water and laid down and let the gentle stream of water clean his fur and mind

Shiera was looking through the thick canopy of leaves or glancing at the forest beyond the uncovered holes in the bushes. Diana was simply laying, unable to sleep. "Mom, i can't sleep, i want to do something." She muttered too her mother. Shiera turned her head and looked down at her, "Try, Diana. Like your dreaming." She urged. Diana swayed her head then laid it back down to her paws and closed her eyes, trying to go to sleep again. Shiera faced forwards again, looking around with only her eyes as she waited for Orion. She slept late at dawn anyway.

Orion stood up out of the water, he shook his drenched body and yelped a little as an old wound opened up and bled. Droplets of blood fell into the water and turned pink. He walked out of the water "i am who i am and i must be for Shiera and Diana." He slowly made his way through a small thicket and walked back to the den to lay with Shiera and Diana. Once he was back the white wolf walked into the den and smiled at his mate "forgive me for my absence. I have been doing lots of thinking after the incident with Zeus and when Diana was taken." He laid his sore and hurt body down at the entrance of the den as always facing them.

Shiera smiled, "It's alright. I meant for you to take your time anyway." She replied. Diana was already half asleep, and Shiera talked quietly to not wake her up again. She dug her chilled paws into the bedding and sighed, "How are you always getting beat up like a this?" She thought aloud.
