
Once upon a time,
not so long ago a raging war deafened the forest. It was a time of blood, fear and sacrifice. It was a war of land, prey and life. No one knew for how long has the war endured, and no one really knew that the only reason behind it was greed. The leaders of Saf and Gaddar have sentenced their packs to misery and suffering, to early deaths and grim discoveries. The ground was shaking from the strength of their never tiring paws, the crimson water rippled as it sent news trough the forest, the woods echoed with the last howls of the brute creatures. No one thought there would be an end to all this. To the pain. To the suffering. To the death. But it all ended as suddenly as it began. The soil grew strong again, the streams hurried to the clear lakes, the forest went quiet again. Laughter and joy now returned to the land, and spring announce new life in the valley and the packs. The war has been forgotten.

The packs now continue to live in the forest. Their land borders, sharing the same hunting grounds, their lives entwined together. The war is now looked back at as a legend told to curious pups by inexperienced parents. The others know better than to speak of it so easily. There is still tension rising and anticipation growing. The air is heavy and the silence is disturbing. Caleb and ? lead their packs differently, but both looking for what is best for their followers. They cherish their packs' tradition but are not afraid of starting their own. Are plans sewed between the packs' leaders, or is everyone trying to forget the past? Can history repeat itself again? Can it all began as it never ended? Was it really the end or was it just a loop in time?
