Not to long later, when Motsi saw the she-wolf comes back with a hare he couldn't help but smile at her. "Someone will be happy for that meal." He commented, standing up while making sure to stay crouched down so he was smaller than the others. He couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy. Here was a wolf who could properly do something for the pack. He gave a small shake of his fur, scattering snow and dirt around him before he took a quick glance at the she-wolf again.

Motsi was surprised when the wolf had talked to him, so he stayed silent for a couple moments as he scrambled to find the words to say, but by then it was to late, the wolf had already left. Letting out a small, frustrated whine he pinned back his ears and retreated to one of the edges of the camp, where he curled up and buried his nose into his tail.
