Ying smiled softly at the small cub. She could feel his heartbeat thumping against her chest as he curled into her fur. But his growling stomach needed filling. Even I could do with a snack. So I stood up, picking the cub up and placing him on his four feet. "Okay, so we go catch some rabbits or something, find a stream to drink at and clean our coats then curl up some-place warm for the night. Ying raised herself up to full height before dropping back into hunting crouch. The trail was unmarked, no claw marks of tuft's of fur that indicated the presence of other predators. She could leave Theodore's side to actually hunt rabbits. Casting her noise high, Ying tried to find the direction of the small rabbit meadow she had spotted earlier. There it was. She gently picked Theodore up and headed in the general direction of the rabbit clearing. Maybe Theodore could fit in one or two of the holes and chase the prey out? Who knows...

Huffing in anger, the young Bengal tiger whipped his tail back and forth. Hunting was already hard enough since predators overpopulated the small forest, and humans patrolled the outsides of the area."If I see that fluff-brain coming my way, I'll cuff him over the head so hard that he won't know what day it is."He growled moodily. Ying smiled, and watched Theodore's attempt at hunting, the basic instincts were there, but lack of practice made him a little rusty. Good focus though, he would survive. Yet again her mind wandered to how such a prosperous cub ended up alone in a hollow tree trunk, it just baffled her. Smirking at Theodore's failed catch, Ying immediately dropped to a hunters crouch. The rabbits were everywhere, so she didn't have to go into full stealth mode, but for Theodore's education, she must provide a good example. Within minutes, she had already caught at least three fat rabbits, and was currently stalking the fourth.
