The Wild Side

It is cold outside... Freezing... It is winter, here, in the tundra... And you are running away, away from your pack. They haven't provided much for you. Nothing. At all. You need to find a new pack. You run faster and faster, hearing your pack call for you. When you run a distance away, you slow down and catch your breath. Your ears perk up, hearing paw-steps all around you. They come in, and your ears fall back, for you are afraid. A brute and a fae step up to you, their pack standing back. You tuck in your tail and back away, but then the brute tells you to stop. "I am Scar, leader of the Tundra Pack. That fae is Shadow, my beta." Says the alpha wolf, Scar. The beta, Shadow, joins in and hisses: "Why are you on this territory? Are you a threat?" You whimper and shake your head. You then explain what happened. After you do, they calm down and continue to talk. "I see what happened to you. You are accepted into this pack, unless you will stay as a loner. If you join this pack, you will get respect and many provided things. If you leave as a loner, who knows what will come." Scar says, as he stands up tall. "What do you choose?" "We will give you time to think. Let us show you around, then the choice is up to you." Shadow barks, and then turns to run. The alpha male follows behind as the pack runs after them. You follow also, and stay close.
