Lila watched him, sniffing the meat. She snarled, protective over her food. After calming down, she waited for him to say something, anything. He didn't seem like the wimpy, timid kind that she hated, he seemed okay. All of a sudden, a pup jumped in between them. Lila growled, snatching up her chunk of lamb.

I move back a bit when the pup hopped out inbetween us. I roll my eyes slightly and sit down looking at the other dog, "Where'd you get that food?" I asked her

Lila's attention flickered to Moon, whom she had briefly met before, but decided to answer him. She opened her mouth, about to ask him why he even cared, but decided to tell him. After all, she had to be polite at least once in her life. "Butchers. He always throws out meat past it's sell by date. Can usually find it in the bins." she explained shortly.

Lila watched as Sam stretched, twitching her paws slightly. Then he moved forward, obviously testing her reaction. Well, she would give him the same reaction she gave everyone who went near her food and she didn't know that well. Lila snapped, growling a little. She lowered her head so it was nearly resting on her lamb.
