((Back, sorry, was having dinner.))
Nuclear rose his head, his nostrils flaring as he attempted to detect what was inside the foliage which lined this area. It was difficult - there were many smells in the area, some of which were unidentifiable. The vegetation was silent, and he mused on the possibility levels of a creature keeping quiet in there. No, surely not. It is just a mere rabbit.
Having deduced this much about the creature - who was in fact not a rabbit - he turned around, growling under his breath at the sudden vertigo attack. He had forgotten that he was sick; the small female looked alright, but he, with his large, heavy pelt and bulk, was the one affected.
Life couldn't be so irritating as this.
Musing on this unfortunate fact, Nuclear took a second to regain a sense of what was up and what was down, and then faced the female, his empty eye socket staring blankly in her direction. It was impossible to keep watch on both organisms, and so he glanced between the two. This game of hide and seek isn't going to last much longer. He knew that in the end, both creatures would have to move, so he just waited, his white/yellow pelt easily visible among the green leaves and the brown dirt. A wind ruffled his fur as he restlessly glanced between the two, one of which was the female and the other was the bush upon which the sound was coming from. He did not believe on talking pointlessly, and so did not speak, instead letting Mother Nature choose the soundtrack.
This ambience was to prove to be short-lived when another scurrying noise came from the foliage nearby. In response, the male rolled his eyes. "Do I really look that bad?" he muttered, under his breath.
"Come out, come out, wherever you are."
Nuclear did not approve of pointless games as much as he didn't like pointless talking, and so the headstrong male waited for a response. More often than not this technique would reap no rewards, but you never knew - perhaps, just perhaps, someone would make contact. Someone, Nuclear mused, with both an idea of what was going on and some food to regain his strength.
