The pup lowered his ear but nodded quietly, sincerely confused. He was tempted to go after the wolf, but knew he would never catch up. He knew the wolf was hiding something, and he wanted to find out. (Dramatic ending of post)

I walked into the forest and stopped about 50 metres in. "Are you okay?" I shouted. "I don't know about you but it's rather strang to see a wolf just walk off like that…" I trailed off as I continued walking into the forest, not because of her so much, but because I smelled something familiar, yet completely foreign to me. I stopped walking to get as much of the scent as I could, when the gears in my head went "click". "Could it be…?" I began to think, but my thoughts were interupted by the male pup's scent coming my direction. I followed it to see if he had seen the wolf. "New pup!" I yelled to get his attention, my age was slowing me down quite a bit. "Have you possible have seen a wolf, probably a loner, recently?"

The pup followed the voice and ended up in front of the fea. He drooped a ear and furrowed his brows.

The fea lowered her head further, slinking away from the pup.

The pup hesitated but shook his head no. He didnt want the wolf to get into trouble...

Where ever it was I would be the one held responsible if something happened to her. I continued walking and becoming more and more impatient, "Okay seriously where the hell are you going?" I asked her again, in attempt to hide the rising impatience in my voice.
