Looks: A dark, tawny buckskin stallion. Not very tall, regardless of his name, he only stands about 15 hands, but is incredibly stocky and muscular, with a prominant roman nose. He has had numerous fights with other stallions, and as a result has many battle-scars, particularly on his withers, neck and forelegs.

Personality: Despite what others presume, Oak is a quiet, clever stallion, who learns much from watching and listening to all around him. His family is very important to him, and he protects his mares and foals with his life, which is where he gets his fearsome reputation. Oak has a clear understanding of the world around him, and is particularly skilled at finding good quality grazing, safe from the eyes of man or rival stallions.
Breed: Mustang, but with some draft horse blood in him.

Other: Most of his band were captured during a roundup, when Oak made the fatal error of driving them into a trap set by the ranchers. He regrets this immensly, and has being trying to re-establish a new band of mares. He is very wary of men as a result.
