Whisper raised her dapple bay head, happy that it wasn't a stallion. She stood up and shook out her mane, tossing her head a little bit. She turned around and faced Eclipse quietly. "Hello."

[mindless.]

Eclipse mobed closer to the mare as she seemed to be okay with her. "Hi. Just looking for someone to be in company of." The paint mare smirked sheepishly. Her icy eyes skimmed around warily before heading closer to Whisper. "I' m Eclispe."

[evixtus]

Whisper flicked her ears. She never told anybody her full name. "I'm Whisper." She flicked her tail and glanced around warily. "I could give you some company."

[mindless.]

"Really? Thanks. I just want to keep an eye on those stallions. They all look like Lucifer." Eclipse winced as she realized she had said her old mate's name. She rarely shared her entire name either especially as trust was hard for her.

[evixtus]

Whisper shuddered at a thought. "To me, they all look like a stallion named Diablo." She flicked her ears. "We should go to the forest. Horses are close." She nickered quietly picking up into a quick canter towards the shelter of the trees.

[mindless.]

The mare let out a breath of relief. "Ah. Okay. " The black and white mare cantered after Whisper and toward the safety of the trees. Her tail flicked behind her constantly as she glanced around a last time.

[evixtus]

Whisper snorted softly and twitched her ears, walking towards a grove, where a hidden meadow was. She walked through a giant hole in a giant hedge and walked into the hidden meadow. It had a small babbling stream that ran through the middle of it, and large sweeping pine needle tree branches that made a great shelter. "Welcome to my home." She murmured quietly.

[mindless.]

"It is amazing. I haven't been around here long. I came here right after I ran away." She said and flicked her tail slowly. Dipping her black and white head.the mare nibbled at the full grass with a grin. As hapoy as she was something was missing. What she was not sure. But it filled her with dread.

[evixtus]

Whisper lifted her head and smiled. "There is one stallion that lives here with me. I'm not in his herd or anything, but he keeps me safe." She flicked her ears at the large sweeping branches and watched a Frisian stallion take a few steps out, making his black pelt glitter. She smiled softly and nickered to him.

Night stepped out from under the branches. His black pelt glittered, but it didn't bother him. As soon as Whisper nickered, he nickered back to her softly. He turned to the new mare. "Hello."

[mindless.]

Her eyes widened and a shrill panicked whinny. Every part of him was Lucifer. The eyes. The pelt. The...everything! Her head shook as all of the ghostly memories wheeled into her mind. Rearing slightly a few times Eclipse screamed and turned, looking back a few moments for a place to run and assure she would not be pursued.
