Amelia yawned tiredly as she awoke to feeble sunlight filtering through the tree branches. She had slept outside of camp, perched in a gnarled, old oak tree. Blinking open, her firey, liquid gold eyes, Amelia's gaze swept over the small clearing outside of the enclosed camp. With a small grunt she jumped from the tree, and gently landed on the earth with a silent thud. Amelia shook her thick, black pelt and released another tired yawn, revealing pointed, white teeth. She turned her head from the right, then to the left to check her surroundings before heading into the camp. From the looks of it, it was rather quiet as other wolves aroused. Amelia's alert, golden eyes wandered to the fresh kill pile. It seemed stocked well, and she or her hunters wouldn't need to go hunting for a couple days.

Lily found herself wandering in the outskirts of camp. She sighed gently, unsure of what to do at this point. Nothing seemed to put her in a position of use, or helpfulness. Her jaws parted in a yawn, showing off her teeth. Teeth that were designed to kill. Or, at least seriously wound. She missed her pups, and wondered how her other mate was treating them. She sighed again quietly, peering about the forest.

Rapier found himself stretched out in his den at the base of a tree within his comfy moss nest.He rolled until he found his paws under him and pushed his large frame away from his warm bed.He missed it already as he slowly stepped out from it and into the pale light of the morning sun.He blinked his eyes a couple of times until they adjusted and then looked right at his sister’s den,but she was not in there.She always was up before the sun.He didn’t know how she kept up that sort of energy.He smiled to himself for a moment and then it was gone when he realized what a mess he was.He moved out of the way of any wolves who would soon be waking and started to groom himself.He ridded his obsidian coat of all the moss with a quick shake of his body and then ran his tongue along different spots on his fur until he looked like a king should.Royalty fit him quite well,so he thought,but he was still getting used to his responsibilities and all these others wolves that were finding the lands.It was nice to see that his pack was starting to thrive though.It warmed his heart.

Whitefire wagged her tail and yipped playfully at the butterfly.She growled as she pounced towards it with her paws stretched out.She never actually tried to catch it.She would probably damage the little critter’s wings!That was something she could not do.If she caused damage to its wings so it couldn’t fly then its death would be on her mind for the rest of her life.Whitefire cared about all souls and though she loved to hunt she always made sure to show her prey some respect after she killed it.That was just one of her many quirks.She chuckled to herself and continued to chase he little butterfly in its odd patterns.Well…It really didn’t have a pattern,but it sure was pretty,and entertaining!Chasing butterflies was always entertaining to Whitefire,ever since she was a pup.She stopped when the butterfly started to fly higher and she could no longer chase it then.Well she could,but it wouldn’t be as fun.She whimpered and sat down to watch it fly away in mild sorrow.Goodbye my friend.Maybe we shall meet again someday!She thought and then smiled and walked off to find something else to do in the meantime.

Atlas lays to the back of his den with his body curled up tight in a ball,he shivers slightly but it wasn't because he was cold but he was having a dream and it was sending chills to his spin. His eyes open wide and he glances around the den for a moment,taking in the sights and smells of the surrounding area and soon he was more relaxed and the nightmare was pushed to the back of his head. He yawns and blinks his eyes trying to wake himself up after a few moments of just laying there,he finally decided to get up and heads for the entrance of the den,he narrows his eyes as they adjust to the bright light,he glanced around and watched as the others were busy doing something. He felt a patrol coming on and he looked around for someone to go with. He didn't mind company every now and again.

Everything was perfectly still and Aku was content with the silent beauty. He was lying on a smooth mossy rock that protruded slightly out of a hill. With one paw dangling off, Aku sighed in contentment.

His ears perked up as he scented another wolf nearby. Once the familiar scent of Wildfire registered, his ears settled back. Aku watched with interest as the little Fae chased a butterfly. He quickly dropped his muzzle to the rock and covered it with a paw to muffle the laugh threatening to explode. Well that is not something you would see everyday," he thought to himself as he watched the Fae trot off once the butterfly flew too high.

Whitefire stopped and turned when she realized that she was being watched.That was when she noticed Aku nearby and her cheeks flushed.She looked down and flicked her ears which almost felt like they were on fire.Had he seen the whole thing?Her chasing the butterfly?She was horrified at that.She cleared her throat and lifted her head once more.Look proud!You’re a beta!She scolded herself mentally.She flinched away from her own inner voice after a moment and then headed towards Aku giving him a smile when she stopped about two tail lengths away and sat down.Hi there Aku!Are you well?She asked him.She let the butterfly thoughts fade out from her mind.It was in the past now and she had no time to focus on the past.Besides she had no need to be ashamed of her rather playful nature.She yipped out and let her tail wag in the air behind her.Her paws shuffling in front of her.She was an energetic little fea and this sitting still she was doing right now was like torcher to her,but she couldn’t just walk away in the middle of a conversation!How rude would that be?It simply couldn’t be done.Not by her anyway.
