Mirage walked into an open field and howled for company. she was lonely and felt rejected

Luna flicked her ears and watched the male lower himself into a sitting position. The clear anxiety of sitting there was somewhat clear among his features but he managed to hid it with expertise. "As well you" she said and took in a deep breath. A she did so a gust of air ripped over the earth caressing the scent of the doe to her, which sent small shivers running through her. After a moment she looked back at River, which infact seemed like a pretty feminine name for a male.

"You smell it too," he said, more a statment than a question. He raised a bit on his haunches, not quite standing up, but not quite sitting, either.
"If you'd like, I can catch her. It's just me, so I could share the meat with you."
His eyes glistened once again. He was asking her permission to hunt.

This was killing him.
Okai flicked his tail impatiently as he waited for the bird flock to show up. They always stopped here at this time; he'd been watching them for a week.
He layed in the bushes, constantly scanning the tall grass of the clearing. They were mocking him, he knew it. They were hiding somewhere, laughing at him as he waited.
One small bird fluttered up from the grass, rising with it a few angered caws. He leapt from the bushes, landing among the birds and sending them scattering. He grinned as they flew past him.
He grasped one's wing between his teeth as it flew too close to his muzzle, snapping the thin bone and pulling the rest of it into his mouth. He ate it quickly, spitting out feathers and wiping a few from around his mouth.

Luna did happen to feel a little suprised as the male spoke. But she wasn't suprised by his voice, but instead more of his words. "Uh... Okay" she said just slightly fumbeling with her words as she looked at the male with a curious spark filling her burnt orange colored eyes, before she flicked them away to face the dusty ground, that was padded down, making the movements silent.

With a short nod, Timber darted into the woods, disappearing among the trees. The scent of the doe grew stronger, then ever so stealthily shrunk back as the deer dashed through the stream that coarsed along the ground. He fould not see her yet, but he knew. She was smart.
As he quickly dodged the wide trunks that came in his path, he thought about the wolf briefly. What was that curiosity in her eyes? She'd seemed embarrassed when she'd looked down.
He sighed, slightly of relief, and let his muzzle tighten in focus. His smile disappeared, as he had through the tree line.
He slowed; his movements were so slight, one would have thought he was a shadow. Many wolves would stop, and wait a few moments, then charge in for the kill, startling the deer and causing it to run. But not he; he waited comepletely, creaping stealthily to the prey. It never knew he was there, never had time to think before he rested at its feet and latched on to its brittle throat.
And just like that, as if he was the doe's very shadow, mimicking its every move so that it thought nothing but its reflection in the stream. She wasn't as smart as he'd thought, which came to his advantage.
A small bird chuckled a warning, and the deer tilted her head to look at it and examine the source of the sound. In that instant, with the doe's head up and her throat exposed, the brute leapt, snapping his jaw closed around it. He let out a huff of satisfaction as the bones in her neck snapped, dropping her like a stone in his mouth. He dragged the meat back to Luna, careful not to run it through mud or twigs which might coat it's pelt.

"Gender? Put your nose anywhere near there and you won't have a nose anymore. If you can't tell from my voice, I'm female."

"I'm not sensitive to this question. I'm 2 years old. Yup. Quite young, aren't I?"

"Uh... Well, I'm pretty fast, so I like to hunt! So I guess.. you could call me a hunter? But don't make me mad, cause i'm not a bad fighter either."



"My parents? They died a long time ago. They lived in another pack. I left when they died... I hate humans so much. Killed my parents. But being a wolf, I can't get revenge. Urg."

"My personality? Well, quite honestly you should just find out yourself. But i'll give you a little insight. I'm pretty aggressive. I don't get along lightly with other wolves. I'm hard to like. But if you can wiggle your way through my fur, I'm probably really friendly and sweet inside. Don't think that just cause I told you that you can wiggle your way through! I like to challenge authority. I would like to become alpha female some day."

"My history... My mother and father were the alpha male and female in the pack. My brothers and sisters died trying to fight after the humans went to take my mother and father's pelts. I stayed behind. I was a coward. Now this makes me angry. This is why I am so aggressive. So please, don't bring up the topic of humans around me. I will go into a furious rage."

"Crush? Phhhffff. I don't have time for stupid love. Let the other females roll around on their backs in front of the males. If you like me, then you like me. But don't expect me to like you back. You have to win me over, honey."

"My mother and father abandoned me when I was very little. My mother thought I looked too much like a fox and that was not acceptable in our pack. So she named me Vixen, which means female fox, and banished me, outcast me. My father took me to the borders of the nearest pack. So I could live. I wish to see him again some day."

"Well, I'm not quite sure what to say. I'm shy, and quiet. I know a few medicinal herbs and such. When I am hunting, I am focused on getting the meal. I always send a prayer up to the wolf heavens for giving us this meal. If it was acceptable, I would be a vegatarian. But that is not proper wolf ways. So instead, I devoted myself to being a hunter of the pack. To punish myself for ever thinking of becoming a vegetarian."

"You already know my history, pretty much. One thing you don't know though is that Kiba is my brother. I'll let him explain it all to you."

"Crush? Oh, how embarrassing. Please, don't tell anybody, but I kind of like Atlas. It might change, but I don't know. Eeep!"

"I'm a sweet gentlemen. I always put the ladies first, and I am not doing it just to be a womanizer. I am sweet and kind, as well as a big derp. I never snap, only when it comes to kill the prey I am chasing to feed the clan. I am respectful of my eldest, the alpha male and female, and all those above me. I obey commands without question. Is there any more for me to say?"

"Ah, my history. When Vixen was cast out and my father put her to another pack, I was young. I was older then her, for I was from a past litter, but I was young. A few months later, I found out the truth about Vixen. They told us that she had wandered off when we were on a hunt, and was taken by an eagle. When I found out the truth, I set out to find my sister. I finally did, and I am considered the only family she has. I will stay with her till the end of my time."

"If you couldn't tell by the way I said I wanted to be Delta Male, then you must be deaf. Luna is a cool female, and although I doubt she would ever like me back -which I am totally cool with- I don't mind looking at her beautiful white fur."

"Aiden says I have problems, does that count?" Ava asked with mock innocence, opening one eye and peering at Rapier. It wad rather amusing to see some of the other fae in the camp moon over him. He just seemed like a regular wolf, except for the fact that he was the boss.. "No, Alpha. Hadn't really thought about it to be honest." She said with a wide yawn gracing her lips, and flipping herself back over so that she could push herself into a sitting position.

Rapier smiled to himself as he finished up talking to some of the pack members.He flicked his ears when he spotted Avalon laying with her paws straight up in the air and chuckled at the thought.He started to pad over towards her,hearing Emira’s voice as he did so.Oh Emira that is my fault.I have many of them out on patrol duty right now.He said and gave her a sheepish grin.Then he continued on his way to Ava.When he saw her roll so she was taking up quite a bit of space on the ground he rolled his eyes ather a little bit,out of good humor.You are quite a silly fea aren’t you?He asked her and sat down next to her with a small smirk.Have you eaten yet?I’m trying to make sure that anybody who is hungry eats since we have plenty of prey and I don’t want any of it to go bad and start stinking up the camp.He spoke wrinkling his nose up as a gesture towards a foul smell and then laughing at his own silly antics that he had sometimes.

(Add on!)Rapier smiled at her and chuckled at her words.Do that count?Let me see...Well I haven't noticed these issues,so no.He said and then licked at his chest fur quickly.He flicked his ears forwards and then looked towards her with calculating eyes.An odd thing to not think about.Then again sometimes I fell like I'm always hungry so food is always on my mind.His tone was mildly amused when he spoke this of himself.It was only the truth since he refused to lie if he could avoid it.The biggest lie he had ever told was that he didn't shove Whitefire into the stream when they were pups,but he really did.His mother figured it out with ease and he was punished with tending to any of the old wolves that couldn't do much for themselves anymore and were one screw away from completely losing their minds.Well if you wish to eat there is plenty of food stalked up.He said finally pulling himself out his these fonder memories of his.

Whitefire smiled at him and wagged her tail more swiftly now. Oh this will be fun! She barked.Her frame bounced forwards while she held a constant smile upon her kissers.She licked around her chops as she looked around. There!She whispered to Aku and pointed with her nose towards a brigh colored Monarch butterfly.The ornage and black colors on it making it look like a non-harmful little tiger.Whitefire giggled to herself and felt her limbs tremble with pleasure at the thouht of chasing the small creature.She looked around and then spotted a few others and smirked. There are more there and there. She told him pointing with her nose once more.There were blue and yellow butterflies and even moths there as well!She rolled her shoulders and then yelped and sprang forwards snapping her fangs at the butterflies to get them to fly.When they did she looked at Aku. And so the game starts! She mused and then started leaping after them,this way and that with he rpaws moving swiftly under her and her tail wagging so fast it was nearly a blur behind her.
