Maybell
With nothing to do in the morning Maybell sat next to her son and looked out. She didn't know what Max was doing, but he was being quiet this morning. He kept pushing a little flower back and forth near the ground. May looked down at him and tilted her head, "Max what's the matter?" she asked him looking genuinely concerned. Her son just looked so sad and she wanted to know why.
Maxwell
Maxwell had woken up early that morning, but none of the wolves who looked after him and the other pups were in so he sought out his mom. He found her a little later on and now he laid on the ground near her patting a flower back and forth. He was thinking about his family and was feeling depressed again. He had watched the other pups go out with their fathers and have fun, but he couldn't do that because his father was gone. When his mother spoke he looked up at at her, "Oh, I just, well I was thinking about the other pups, and how they have dads, and I don't anymore." he said looking down at the ground. He heard his mother laugh a little lick his head, "I'm sorry Max, I wish that they were still here, but..." she said and then she trailed off. He smirked and then went back to batting at the flower.
